About the Mirage Nanosat®
Add exciting wraparound sound to your home theater system with Mirage's ultra-compact Nanosat speaker. This satellite uses advanced Mirage technology to ensure a remarkably spacious, realistic soundstage. And its small size and elegant black finish let you easily integrate it into your listening space.
Innovative design for expansive, lifelike sound
The key to Mirage's open, true-to-life sound is their exclusive Omnipolar® technology. The satellite disperses sound evenly in a 360° pattern, thanks to the saucer-shaped Omniguide mounted above its drivers. The result: a deeper, wider, taller soundstage that transforms your entire listening space into a "sweet spot." You won't have to anchor yourself to one prime seat you'll experience warm, natural audio throughout the room.
Out-of-the-way placement options
Mirage's Omnipolar design gives you plenty of placement flexibility. The small satellites fit nicely on shelves or tables, or you can mount them on the wall using the included hardware. Because of the way they radiate sound, they're more forgiving than direct-firing speakers. You can even mount the satellites up high, near the ceiling, for an unobtrusive installation.
Build your own Nanosat system by teaming up five, six, or seven satellites with a Mirage powered subwoofer for full-bodied, high-impact sound. Or check out Mirage's pre-assembled Nanosat home theater speaker system for an easy, all-in-one solution.

Driver Technology
Drivers: The satellite speaker houses a 2-3/4" titanium deposit polypropylene cone woofer with butyl rubber surround and a 3/4" pure titanium hybrid (PTH) dome tweeter mounted on the Omniguide.
Omnipolar Technology: By utilizing the natural room reflections this speaker design radiates sound in a 360° pattern, expanding the sweet spot to encompass virtually the entire room.
Omniguide: The patented Omniguide module utilizes two deflectors, one each for the tweeter and midrange. The module disperses sound the way the ear and brain are accustomed to receiving it; thirty percent is direct sound, the other seventy percent is reflected off walls, ceilings, floors and other surfaces for a completely immersive, 360º experience.
Enclosure Design
Enclosure: The satellite speaker has an acoustic suspension, extruded aluminum enclosure.
Connections
Speaker Terminals: The satellite features high-quality binding post speaker terminals for a secure and convenient connection. You will need to remove a plug that's inserted in the center of the binding post if you wish to use single banana plugs, the terminals are too far apart for dual banana plugs. Spade connectors, pin connectors, or bare wire up to 10 gauge can also be used.
Mounting Options
Video Shielded: The satellite speaker is magnetically shielded for safe placement near your TV or computer monitor without causing picture interference.
Mounting: The NanoSat speaker comes with a key-hole slot wall mount bracket installed. The bracket is mounted with one screw and can position the speaker right side up or upside down. Once mounted the speaker can swivel left or right (approximately +/-40°). The bracket mounts the speaker approximately 1/4" from the wall. The 1/4" 20 threaded insert on the bottom can also be used with other brackets. If you mount the satellite speaker more than six feet off the floor, Mirage recommends turning it upside down. If you place the satellite speaker on a table or shelf, put it as close to the front edge as possible.
Optional Stands: The NanoSat speaker can be mounted on the optional Mirage MS-STB-1 stands (item number 653MSSTBB). When mounting the speakers on these stands, you must retain and use the rubber washers that come with the speakers (mounted between the speaker and the attached metal bracket). Without the rubber washer, the NanoSat speaker will not properly tighten to the stand.

Looks great high up on the wall and sound very good with music, haven't had a chance to give them a work out with my home theater. Had bose mini cubes before and the sound was little thin.
