Input and Output Notes
Overview: The single 6" subwoofer is a patented neodymium/sandwiched stainless steel design and fires upward. It is supplemented by two down firing radiators Soundmatters describes as a moving wall. The radiators are 6 inches square and are steel coated with rubber.
Linear Magnetic Drive Technology: The speaker in the SUBstage 100 uses patented Linear Magnetic Drive technology and ultra-powerful neodymium-sandwich magnets that allow them to go deeper, play louder and cleaner than otherwise possible.
Low-pass Crossover: The crossover control allows you to adjust the upper limit of the subwoofer's frequency response from 50 to 200 Hz. The crossover slope is 12 dB/octave.
Phase Adjustment: The remote control allows you to adjust the phase of the subwoofer's output signal from 0? to 180? to optimize the sub's performance, given it's location and your listening position.
EQ: There is a +3dB boost centered at 70 Hz.
Auto Turn-on Function: The subwoofer will turn itself on automatically when an audio signal is present. If no signal is present, the unit will switch to standby mode.
Placement: Given its small size, the SUBstage 100 offers great placement flexibility. It can also be wall mounted with an optional bracket available from Soundmatters.
Multiple Subs: Using the input/output jacks on the bottom of the sub, you can easily daisy-chain multiple subs together to achieve louder bass levels or compensate for room acoustics.
Adjustable Feet: The four feet are adjustable to level the sub.
- Level: rotary dial on the bottom of the sub
- Crossover Point: continuously variable from 50-200 Hz
- Phase: continuously variable from 0? to 180?
- EQ: on/off
- Power: when the master power switch is off the signal sensing auto turn-on circuit is disabled
RCA: The single RCA jack can be used as an input or and output.
Mini-jack: The single 3.5mm mini-jack can be used as an input or and output.

I was skeptical at first. Seems too small to have a good output. I was wrong. this thing shakes the floor. I may add a second unit in the near future. I don't know why no one else has a unit like this. These are mated with the Pol Rti4 and Csi3 center. great setup for under $900 total.
