About the MTX Thunder4500 T4512-04
So you want to add a sub to your system, but don't want to lose your life's savings? Allow MTX to introduce you to the world of rip-roaring, affordable bass. The Thunder4500 Series subs have been designed to deliver lots of low-frequency firepower without scorching a hole in your wallet.
The T4512-04 12" subwoofer throws down hardcore bass with a carbon-filled polypropylene cone supported by a treated foam surround. The Asymmetrical Linear Drive System (ALDS) consists of a flat, progressive spider that improves suspension and an extended vented pole piece that smoothes out the cone's linear motion. The result is high output and low distortion.
The voice coil is wound on a high-temperature former to promote high power handling. This versatile sub delivers big bass from virtually any sealed, ported, or bandpass enclosure.

These speakers are awesome, i have 2 of them hooked up to a profile 1200 "california" amp, they have about 300 watts going to each, they are so loud, and they hit HARD. pretty much the best you can get in this price range, highly recomended.
