About the Sima CT-2 GoDVD!
The GoDVD! model CT-2 video enhancer from Sima makes it easy to protect your collection of home videos and prerecorded movies. Just connect this compact device between your playback source (VCR, camcorder or DVD player) and a DVD recorder. The CT-2 stabilizes video signals to reduce video sync noise and other artifacts, ensuring optimal video quality for your DVD copies. (If you don't have a DVD recorder, you can send the output to a VCR for VHS copies, but this unit is really designed with the superior quality of DVD in mind.)
The CT-2 is great for making archival DVD copies of your camcorder-captured home movies or irreplaceable old VHS movies. Three enhancement modes let you brighten dimly lit home movies, darken overly bright videos, or convert color sources into black and white. The CT-2 offers S-video and composite video inputs and outputs, and accepts virtually any video source, including VHS, S-VHS, DVD, DV, Hi-8, and 8mm. It can even convert PAL-formatted video to NTSC, or vice versa.
