Just add Alpine's optional "Full Speed" connection cable to gain fast, complete access to your iPod®. The percentage search feature lets you find your music files quickly: each of the six radio preset buttons jumps over a designated percentage (0, 17, 33, 50, 67, or 83 percent) of your playlist.
Instead of normal bass and treble controls, the Bass Engine® feature lets you select which bass and treble frequencies you want to adjust, so that you can do a better job of tuning the sound. Connect a powered subwoofer to the set of preamp outputs, and Bass Engine also lets you adjust the bass level from the stereo. Alpine goes a step further by including a high-pass filter to block the low bass that your regular speakers can't handle.
