In my experience, the sales advisors do not try to sell you something you do not need and are willing to discuss the pros and cons of a particular piece of equipment. You don't get the feeling they are trying to rush you off the phone until your questions are fully answered and that you are satisfied with their answers and your ultimate decision It is a pleasure doing business with people who know their merchandise and can answer questions accurately and politely.
I appreciate the time they are willing to spend with a potential customer to make sure you are getting what you need and what you expect. And they are willing to inform you that you do not need certain items or features rather than trying to sell you components that are beyond your application requirements or those that would be redundant to what you already own. This honesty is most appreciated. As an amateur radio operator and pilot I work with and rely on electronics a great deal and have a good general sense of and background in general and radio electronics. But, I am not as well versed in home audio and video electronics and so the sales and service advisors at Crutchfield are critically important to assist me in making a decision that meets my needs. And, that is exactly what they have done.
