Why is this question important?

Most surround sound systems include five speakers, not counting a subwoofer — a pair for the front left and right, one for the center, and a pair for the surround (rear) channels. Some systems come with an additional sixth speaker for the rear. If your receiver has an additional "back surround" channel, this extra speaker lets you enjoy more fully enveloping surround sound.
