Hemp/glass composite cones
The Arsenal CS-ARS650 component system features a low-profile 6-3/4" woofer that fits into a wide variety of speaker openings, including many 6-1/2" locations. JVC combines hemp and glass fibers together to make a strong, lightweight woofer cone with natural high-frequency roll-off that offers a very organic, mellow sound. A Santoprene rubber surround keeps cone movement under control when you turn up the volume.
Titanium tweeters edged with silk
Each titanium dome tweeter is edged in silk for brilliant high notes that are never harsh, allowing long-term listening without ear fatigue. The crossover maintains a perfect balance between woofer and tweeter for unbelievable realism and distinct stereo imaging, with cool illumination that complements the speakers' styling.
Note: JVC describes this model as a 6-1/2" speaker. Most manufacturers designate this same frame size as a 6-3/4" speaker. For simplicity's sake we list it as a 6-3/4" speaker.

Features
Construction: The silk-edged 1" Titanium dome tweeter has a neodymium magnet. The woofer cone is glass fiber-hemp and has a Santoprene rubber surround. The woofer magnet is also neodymium and the woofer basket is die cast aluminum.
Woofer Size: The woofers in this component set fit both 6-3/4" and 6-1/2" openings. The screw holes on the frame follow the standard 6-3/4" pattern. In order to install them in 6-1/2" speaker openings you must either drill new screw holes or use the included multi-hole adapter rings. The adapter rings allow installation in many standard 6-1/2" applications, Ford 4-hole 6-1/2" applications, and specialized 6-3/4" applications.
Crossovers: The outboard crossovers have jumpers offering three tweeter output options; flat, -3 dB, and -6 dB. The inputs and outputs are screw terminals that will accept bare wire up to 12 gauge. The included woofer and tweeter wires have quick slides installed. Each crossover also has set screw terminals for a 12 volt DC input which powers three internal blue LEDs. The 12 volt illumination input is optional, it doesn't affect the operation of the crossover.
