Julie Govan is the Home Multichannel Projects Editor at Crutchfield, and has been writing about consumer electronics since 1999. Her areas of expertise include home theater, surround sound, digital cameras, and HDTV. In her spare time, she also writes book reviews and fiction. She earned a B.A. in English from Davidson College, and went on to receive a master's degree in English literature from the University of Virginia.
Ralph Graves is one of Crutchfield's blog editors, and part of the company's social media team. He writes about home audio/video gear, specializing in Apple-related and wireless technologies. Ralph holds a master's degree in music composition, and his works have been released on various labels. He's served as product manager for an independent classical and world music label, produced several recordings, and worked extensively in public broadcasting. Many of the people appearing in our videos are part of the Crutchfield Writing Team, but we also frequently pull in other folks from around the company to share their expertise. A lot of our Video Guests come from our Advisor Group — they help people choose the right gear via phone, e-mail and chat every day, so they're good at explaining the products and technologies.
