The new V-Power all-digital car amplifiers are 40% smaller than their predecessors, so they can fit almost anywhere. Each amp features Enhanced Shutdown Performance, which rolls back the output a bit when the amp threatens to overheat from playing at its limits too long. Instead of shutting down completely, it continues playing your music, until it cools enough to return to full power. Each amp also includes preamp- and speaker-level inputs, so you can install one in almost any vehicle, even a vehicle with a factory radio. If you're using the speaker-level inputs, the amp senses an incoming signal and turns itself on, eliminating the need to run a turn-on wire back to your vehicle's receiver or fusebox.
Alpine is releasing three new full-featured CD receivers in 2013, the CDE-HD149BT, the CDE-HD148BT, and the CDE-147BT. They boast an array of features that appeal to smartphone users and those who appreciate Alpine’s legendary sound. These receivers are also compatible with Alpine’s new smartphone sound-tuning app, TuneIt™.
Download the free app on your iPhone® or Android™ smartphone, and you can tune your vehicle, share your settings, and download others’ settings for your particular vehicle. The TuneIt app lets you save up to 100 different sound settings, share those settings with others, and download others’ settings. TuneIt even lets you create a profile on Facebook so you can share settings with other users.
