Tara W. checked out the Klipsch® Gallery G-17 Air™ at CES. It has both Apple AirPlay® and Klipsch's high-quality speaker technology, so it's easy to play great-sounding music from your iPod® and iPhone®.
Tara: We're here talking about the Klipsch G-17 Air and what can you tell us about this?
Klipsch: The Klipsch Gallery G-17 Air is an exciting new product for us because it's incorporating technologies that are really creating a new direction for us as a company. The technology I'm speaking of is AirPlay and it's an Apple technology that allows consumers to stream music wirelessly from an iPod, iPhone, iPad or a PC or a laptop computer from a Mac or a Windows based computer. It's going to allow them to have their phone in their pocket so they can continue using it for email or texting purposes while they're still streaming music to the G-17 Air.
The G-17 Air comes with two 3/4" aluminum domed tweeters. It also comes with a pair of 2 ½" IMG woofers that allow it to really perform a true dynamic sound that people expect from a Klipsch speaker system today. On the back of this device, you also have a USB input which will allow you to connect an iPad, iPhone, or iPod device to this, as well as a 3 ½" mm input that will allow you to connect other devices to it and be a universal system for anything that's not maybe an Apple product itself.
Tara: And that's the G-17 Air.
