Eric C. of Streamwood, IL, returns to the Custom Car Showroom to exhibit his 2008 Saturn Vue XE, which he outfitted with a Pioneer DVD receiver, Infinity speakers, MTX subwoofers, and a pair of Pioneer amplifiers most of which he hid from view.
Eric G. from Willamsville, NY, wanted to get his 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP's system to sound less harsh and more bass-heavy. After trial and error with different components, he ended up with some JL Audio speakers and a sweet Pioneer AVH-P3400BH DVD receiver, among other pieces of gear.
Jordan B. from Florence, SC, wasn't happy with the sound in his 2000 Chevrolet Camaro, so he took care of business with a new stereo from Pioneer, plus speakers from Kenwood and Pioneer.
James G. from Bentonville, AR, revved up the sound on his 2012 Ford Mustang with a new Pioneer DVD receiver in the dash. A JL Audio system with two 10" subs, some Evolution speakers, and an amplifier rounded out his installation.
Brandon Z. from Maryville, TN, bumped up the audio in his 2005 Nissan Altima with a Pioneer DVD receiver, Kicker amp, and some new speakers and subs.
Mike's Mustang stands out on the local car show circuit, and it's not just because of the color! He dressed up the trunk with custom video monitors and a JBL amp and subwoofer, and commands the show with a fully loaded Pioneer stereo.
All the information and links you'll need to plan, install, tune, and enjoy a subwoofer system in your car or truck.
After a little over a year of driving my 2011 Subaru Impreza, I knew it was time to change out the system from factory equipped to an aftermarket setup. It also made sense to upgrade since I write all things speaker and subwoofer related for Crutchfield, and I get to hear amazing car stereo equipment on a regular basis thanks to our labs. The final product sounds amazing, and helps me enjoy riding around town even more.
