plug and play at its best... easy and it works... would buy it again in a heartbeat... have all of my components neatly stored in the laundry room with all of my wires out of sight... awesome!!!!

Great product for distance

This product solved our projector remote distance problem. Our church projector remote only worked in 27 feet. We increased the distance to 65 feet with the Powermid. Now we can control the projector from the back of the sanctuary instead of in front of everyone. Thank you for solving our remote distance problem.

A terrific product that works as well or better than promoted. It never fails to accurately and reliably repeat the infrared signals for three devices located in a closed systems closet. Thanks, Crutchfield for the very good and inexpensive solution!

We purchased these units so be able to control our Onkyo TX-SR806 and Sony 300 CD changer while out on the patio. We have zone 2 hooked up to a pair of Klipsch AW-650 speakers. AWESOME! Worth every penny!
The X-10 systems works nicely. However, it has started picking up stray RF signals and randomly changing the cable box channels on us. It has only happened a few times. Since we only use it when outside, I just turn the inside receiver unit so it isn't facing the TV system when we are inside. That is the only shortcoming of this system.

Great little gadget! I will be buying more of the receivers to put around the house. I use the original one outside during pool parties to control all of my equipment back inside. So far works with any remote that is based off of IR.
I use it currently to control my amp, ipod, tv, SACD Player, DVD player. The beauty of it is that you simply plug both units into the wall outlet and that is it!!
