Features
Bose Bluetooth headset Series 2: The Bose Bluetooth headset Series 2 meets the demands of on-the-go communications, from crowded terminals to noisy traffic. It's engineered to react automatically as noise levels change, allowing you to hear your end of the call better. Plus, an exclusive noise-rejecting microphone system helps your caller better hear you above both noise and wind. The Bose Bluetooth headset is compact, light and well-balanced, and now you can choose between right- or left-ear versions.
Bluetooth 2.1 Compatibility: The Bose Bluetooth headset Series 2 is compatible with Bluetooth devices using Bluetooth 2.1 (or earlier) specifications that support the Bluetooth hands-free (HFP), headset (HSP), or audio streaming (A2DP) profiles.
Pairing: You must initially pair your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone with the Bose Bluetooth headset. The headset features a Bluetooth indicator to display status.
Bluetooth Indicator Color Chart | |
---|---|
Color | Description |
Blue (slow flash) | The headset is discoverable for pairing. |
Blue (quick flash) | The headset is attempting to connect to a mobile phone or is receiving or making a call. The headset and a paired mobile phone are not connected. One of them is not turned on, or the two are more than 33' apart. |
Blue (solid) | The headset is connected for calls. |
Purple (solid) | The headset is connected for A2DP audio streaming. |
Note: Due to the differences in Bluetooth technology, some Bluetooth enabled devices may be incompatible, function improperly, or may not support all features when used with the Bose Bluetooth headset.
Multipoint Design: Multipoint allows the Bose Bluetooth headset Series 2 to maintain a connection to two devices at the same time. If you have separate mobile phones for work and personal use, you can use the same headset with either phone. No matter which phone rings, the call will come through the headset. When powered on, the headset will automatically try to connect to the last two phones with which it was used.
Voice Command Support: Many Bluetooth enabled smartphones can be operated using voice commands. You can initiate those commands on the Bose Bluetooth headset Series 2 by pressing the call button.
Exclusive Bose Advanced Technology: With technologies that accentuate voices over noise, the Bose Bluetooth headset allows for more natural-sounding conversations with fewer interruptions at both ends of the line.
- Adaptive Audio Adjustment Technology: Adaptive audio adjustment technology automatically senses noise around you and adjusts the headset volume accordingly. In a loud environment, the volume increases so you can hear your call. When things quiet down, the volume decreases. Either way, the listening level remains constant.
- TriPort Acoustic Structure: Bose TriPort acoustic structure ensures a natural voice quality, whatever the volume level.
- Noise-Rejecting Microphone System: The Bose Bluetooth headset features an improved noise-rejecting microphone system that differentiates between your voice and background noise; even in windy environments. It transmits more of you (and less noise) to the listener.
Side-Specific Design: The side-specific design of the Bose Bluetooth headset Series 2 allows you to get the fit that's right for you. The curved design fits facial features, and the button placement on top and bottom allows the use of a natural pinching motion that won't dislodge the headset from your ear. And the soft StayHear silicone tip keeps the headset comfortably and securely in place. It distributes contact over a greater area inside the ear, avoiding known pressure points. The headset stays in your ear without being too tight; and without an ear hook.
Note: The Bose Bluetooth headset Series 2 comes with three sizes of StayHear silicone tips (S/M/L).
Simple Control: The Bose Bluetooth headset has separate buttons for power, volume, and call send/end; all conveniently located on the top and bottom edges of the headset. Each action, from taking and ending calls to inserting or removing the headset, can be accomplished easily with one hand; important while you're driving or on the go.
- Power Slider Switch: The power slider switch lets you easily turn headset power on (green) or off (red) one-handed, with a quick slide of the switch.
- Answer/End Call Button: The answer/end call button makes it easy to answer and end calls with a simple press that won't dislodge the headset. Press this button twice to redial the last number. This button also enables pairing with your Bluetooth phone.
- Volume Up/Down: Use volume up/down buttons to raise or lower the volume of a call.
A2DP Audio Streaming: When you're not on a call, you can enjoy mobile media content through A2DP. The Bluetooth profile for streaming audio content lets you listen to turn-by-turn directions; plus stored music, podcasts and other media on your smartphone.
Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery: The Bose Bluetooth headset's integrated rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides 4.5 hours of talk time and 100 hours of standby time per charge. The headset's battery indicator shows battery status from green to amber to red. A supplied Wall charger and USB cable provides two options for charging the headset battery. Simply connect the Bluetooth headset to your computer's USB port or an AC wall outlet to charge the device. Allow up to 3 hours for a full charge.
Battery Indicator Color Chart | ||

Carrying Case: The included carrying case helps to protect the Bluetooth headset during transport and storage.

I own a convertible, so I've had trouble finding a headset that works with all the external noise. I've found one that works! The folks I call are amazed that I am talking on a headset.
