I have heard other people's Bose Radio/CD changer systems and thought that was amazing. I thought I would purchase the Bose V20 system for my birthday. My dream was to own a home theater system some day, When I hooked it up and listened to the TV and CD's, that was amazing. The Ulitmate test was to watch a movie with lots of "interesting" sounds. Star Trek was my choice, I can honestly tell you I felt like I was in the theater! Recently I was in the airport in Dallas awaiting my next plane, I went into an electronics store and chatted with a sales person. He mentioned another home theater system I had never heard of as being 'better', I asked him if he had ever listened to a Bose. His reply was no, and mine was that he could not make a statement like that unless he had listned to a Bose!

Bose® Lifestyle® V20 system

I find the Bose® Lifestyle® V20 system to be an amazing piece of
engineering with excellent suround sound. I have hooked up a Sony
BlueRay player and a Marantz 5 disk CD player to the V20. The Bose life
Style systems have the ability to balance the systems sound to your rooms
acoustics and it does an excellent job. Not only do the speakers disappear
into your room decor, but the sound quality is excellent. Now let's discuss
the Bose Link system which is another Star Wars piece of engineering. I
have used Bose Link to send the cd players music to my office where I have
the Bose® Lifestyle® Homewide Powered Speaker System. I also have
sent the cd sound to my Marantz PM8003 stereo system in my family room
and to an Ihome radio cube speaker system in my bedroom. In fact I can
send two channels of sound to up to 14 rooms in my home and unattached
garage with Bose's wireless radio transmitter and receivers while someone
watches the tv hooked up to the V20 in my living room. The V20 also does
an excellent job playing my music cds. I would recomend this sytem to
anyone who wants very high quality sound.

Excellent quality - BOSE at its finest

This is my first audio purchase since the early 1980's and I have to say that most of the equipment I looked was was far inferior to that of the BOSE system. I did have it professionally installed and the sound rivals that of more complex and aesthetically less pleasing systems. Simplicity and quality were the two criteria that I was looking for in a new system and BOSE delivered! The people at BOSE and Crutchfield were extremely helpful in making my decision easier.

Once I set this up and did the calibration, you could not tell if it was ethier my Klipsch system or the Bose.It sounds Fantastic. Worth the money for sure.
