Great product. I have had a few headphones but none as clean as these. The music is clean and crisp. You get to hear all the instruments.

Pros: Very light weight. The case is a good idea. Someplace to store your OE2 when not in use.

Cons: Can,t find anything negative.

The Bose Brand gets a lot of hype and people who seem to like them because of the reputation given by users. I really try to resist this type of marketing. Not wanted to take advantage of Crutchfield too much I went to a big box store to try some headsets. Unable to try the in ear but the on and around ear headphones were almost all very unattractive to me. I sampled all of the brands, ,ost of them were either ugly, cheap looking, too big or obnoxious looking and almost all of them sounded horrible to me. Some were far inferior to the cheap headsets that you buy on an airline and bring home, it was amazing. I already had a set of in ear Bose ie2's which I inherited from my wife as she did not like the way they felt in ear and I simply love these, to me their sound is amazing, so I was sure to look at the Bose section. Of all of the models of on or around ear headphones on the Bose display I only liked the 0e2's and they were the most inexpensive. Only this one sounded good, clear and balanced to me, not quite as good as my ie2's but much more comfortable for longer stretches and very, very, good. I did not care for the most expensive NC ones that people seem to love. I thought it was hype but for me, my Bose headphones are the only ones that can make me smile when I listen to music, especially when I listen to SRV.

Pros: Look nice, nice case makes them easy to transport. Feel good, good seal but not too tight. Comfortable for longer periods. Sound quality and music is subjective and I love the way these sound.

Cons: Not much to complain about. The case is small to make them easy to pack. If I could design my own case it would be a little bigger to hold the headphones after sizing on my head so I would not have to re-adjust them every time. I can not think of anything else to complain about as of yet and you might have to agree with me that this is nit picking.

I have a pair of Bose over the ear headphones but I needed something to use when I sitting in the doctors office and I didn't want to lose the quality of Bose so these are great for that purpose. The sound is excellent and I don't hear people around me talking. Excellent quality I would recommend these to everyone.

Pros: Excellent sound, great quality

Without getting technical, let me just say that these OE2's are the best headphones I have used. I originally wanted in-ear phones, & tried a few , but could never keep them in my ears! I didn't want "around the ear" phones w/noise cancelling, as I will be using these outdoors & wanted to have the ability to hear things around me. I decided to give the Bose OE2's a try, as they were on sale @ Crutchfield, & this company is just the best at everything they do! The first thing that i do with new headphones, is to do a "burn-in" for about 4-5 hrs. a day (not wearing them during the burn-in). I usually do about 40 hrs. total. It does help loosen up the drivers & I feel it results in better sound through out the spectrum. These "over-the-ear" phones fit well & are extremely comfortable. So far I really enjoy them. Nice clean sound, & no artificial bass heard in some other brands. For the money, they are a good alternative to spending $300-$500 for headphones!

Pros: sound quality, nice fit, compact style, removable cord (easy replacement),

Cons: none that I can see at this time.

Bose Without the Bloat

Written By SeanK, New Lenox, IL on Tuesday, December 27, 2011

I've always been a big fan of noise isolating earbuds however I decided to try the Bose on ear headphones. Let me mention that I've had other Bose products and although they always have big sound it always seems artificial. I want to say these are the most natural sounding earphones I've ever tried. The highs never sound tinny and the lows go through you but that don't rattle the brain. I've tried all music types and they all sound as they should.

Pros: Stylish, very well made and pretty comfotable

Cons:

Beats by Dre killer

Written By Jerome, Victorville on Tuesday, December 27, 2011

I gotta say I love everything about these earphones. They are so small and light weight and pack a huge punch. I listen to mostly Hip-Hop,Rap,R&B Genre, you can tell im a big person on bass. My first choose was Beats by Dre Solo earphones, but when I place the Bose on my head I couldn't put them down. They sound richer and clear then the Solo with the same amount of bass. Swear you cant go wrong with Bose :)
