Overview: The Bose SoundDock 10 is a powered desktop speaker system with advanced waveguide speaker technology, designed

Audio Features
Waveguide Speaker Technology: Advanced waveguide speaker
technology, only from Bose, enables full-bodied sound, especially in
lower registers, for more natural-sounding bass and percussion instruments.
Newly Designed Woofer: The SoundDock 10's newly designed woofer has a larger magnet than conventional woofers, for
powerful performance; delivering full, rich sound.
Bose Digital Signal Processing:
Bose digital signal processing circuitry enables finer control over the sound
for more consistent, lifelike music reproduction even at low volume levels.
Non-Slip Feet: The bottom of the
SoundDock 10 features five surface-gripping rubber pads to provide a stable platform
on most surfaces.
iPod/AV Connectivity
Made for iPod/iPhone Compatible: The SoundDock 10 features a dock in the front of
the unit with a proprietary Apple iPod dock connector. The SoundDock 10 works
with select iPods with a Dock connector. The SoundDock 10 is "Made for iPod/iPhone
compatible" and supports the following iPod/iPhone model functions (December
2011).

Note: Apple iPod/iPhone software updates may change
functionality results. If you download a newer software version, you may
need to reset the unit and your iPod/iPhone to regain functionality. If this
doesn't work, you may need to revert to the older software version or wait
until a newer software update is available.
Airplane Mode (for iPhone): In the event of audio
interference when you have your iPhone docked, set iPhone to Airplane Mode. You
will not be able to receive phone calls in Airplane Mode.
Universal Dock Adapter: The SoundDock 10 comes with a
pre-installed universal dock adapter, which accommodates most iPod models. If
you prefer to use the dock adapter included with your iPod, you can easily
remove the universal dock adapter and snap in your iPod-specific dock adapter.
Dock adapters for most iPod and iPhone models are available directly from Apple.
Video Output: The Bose SoundDock 10 features a rear-panel composite video
output for watching videos stored in your iPod or iPhone on your television.
Aux Input: The SoundDock 10 has a rear-panel 3.5mm auxiliary
input for connecting a external portable audio source other than your iPod.
mini-USB Connector: The mini-USB is designed for downloadable software
updates that may be available in the future. By registering your product, you
will automatically be notified of any necessary updates.
Wireless Operation
RF Remote Control: An RF wireless remote control is included
that offers basic iPod controls; volume up/down, skip forward/backward, search
forward/backward within the song, play/pause, Playlist select and off. The
controls on the iPod also work while connected to he SoundDock 10. The SoundDock
10 will return to the last volume setting used when turned on/off.
Optional Bluetooth Adapter (sold separately): The optional Bluetooth
dock lets you easily play your stereo Bluetooth music phone through the SoundDock 10 system.
Bluetooth wireless technology lets you keep your phone with you as you listen. Its modular design lets you easily replace
the SoundDock 10 iPod dock with the Bluetooth dock. The Bluetooth dock stores up to six music phones in its memory.
Power Requirements
Power Supply: The unit is powered by the supplied detachable
AC power cord. It does not operate on battery power. The SoundDock 10 provides
power to charge your iPod even if the speaker system is off.
iPod Charger: The SoundDock II provides power to charge your
iPod/iPhone during operation. iPod/iPhone charging is suspended when the unit is
turned off.
Note: If your iPod has four buttons above the "click
wheel" the SoundDock II will not charge the iPod.
