Control calls and music with your iPhone®

If an iPhone is your main mobile music source, you'll love the remote and microphone built into the cord of the SoundTrue™ around-ear headphones. It's great for hands-free phone conversations, putting call answer, hang-up, and volume at your fingertips — even when your phone isn't. With any compatible Apple® device, like an iPad® or iPod®, you can control music playback, skip songs, and bump the volume up or down with the in-line remote.

Fold-flat earcups for easy portability

Though great-sounding and super comfortable, there may be times when you actually want to remove the SoundTrue™ around-ear headphones from your ears. When you do, they're easy to store in a backpack or purse. The earcups fold flat, so you can slide them into the included compact carrying case.

Bought these for a long flight. While not noise suppression they work great in keeping most engine noise & screaming kid noise out. Use an app called windy to provide pleasant background white noise

I love these headphone and I love the expediency with which I received them. Great service from Crutchfield. The ONLY thing I don't like about the headphones is that sometimes I can hear the thud sounds of my footsteps in my ears when I wear them. But it's simply caused me to walk more stealthily and more ninja-like, which is pretty cool, so I'm ok with it.

Pros: SOUND, comfort, color

Cons: the foot thudding thing.

These are a great pair of headphones, not to mention the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. They don't clamp your head like other headphones do, and I've tried quite a few. It is because the headphones go around your hear, rather than on your ear. However, I notice that while I don't have to take them off normally because of the clamping, I DO take them off every once in a while because my ears do get a bit warm/hot. Overall, the sound quality is good. I think the only downside is that the bass is not that thumpy (which may be a great thing for some of you), but it just doesn't have the same "impact" that some other headphones do. I'm not talking about Beats or SOL type headphones, but I think the reason for this is just because the headphones are not directly on your ear. I've heard that the Bose Soundtrue On-ear headphones have more bass, but that's just the nature of the headphone being directly on your ear. Other than that, the sound quality is great, neutral, and accurate. One more thing is that the volume can be a little bit low sometimes, lower than some other headphones would be at the same volume. Finally, I love how the cord is so long, it helps not to be tied down so close to your device, and the remote control buttons work well with iOS or Mac devices. Love also the carrying case and detachable cord. Really happy with my purchase!

Pros: comfortable, lightweight, long cord with remote buttons

Cons: ears get hot after a while, bass is not as strong as other headphones

Decent Headphones

I was in the market for over-the-ear headphones that weren't too bulky, are comfortable and produce decent sound quality. These headphones did the job for me. I recently brought these on board an airplane and I was impressed by the comfort. I was able to wear these cans for hours at a time without irritation. The sound quality is good for the price, but the sound isolation is mediocre. Also the in-line controls are far too close to the end of the connector. If you are an audiophile, these will not impress. Though the sound for the most part is balanced, some particular frequencies may sound muffled. If the price was around 40 dollars less, this would be way up the chart in my opinion. Overall I would recommend this product for mobile use over in home listening.

Pros: - Comfort - Design/color-ways - Portability

Cons: - Price - Carrying case could be better for $ - In-line controls are too close to connector end

The Bose headphones have been always associated with great sound. This is no exception. The sound is consistent throughout, lightweight, and comfortable. For the price point, it's an excellent value.

Pros: Great sound, lightweight, and comfort

Cons: For those looking for heavy bass in your headphones, this will not be your choice. It has consistent and even sound throughout. The emphasis is not heavy bass.

I have always wanted to get a set of the Bose around ear headphones and I am glad I finally did! First thing that I noticed with them is the build quality, very good for the size. I really like how they fold in to fit in the included case. The inline mic was and added bonus on the removable cord. These by far have to be the most comfortable headphones I have ever had! The sound quality is very good, but not as good as the hype would have you believe. They are worth the money if they are on sale, which is why I bought them.

Pros: Build quality, comfort, sound quality, included storage, removable cord with mic.

Cons: Price is a bit much for the sound quality even on sale.

Great headphones. They are beautiful and stylish. They not supposed to be noise cancelling but they cancel a lot of external noise even when the music is off. Sound quality is very good like every Bose products.

Features

Overview: The Bose SoundTrue around-ear headphones are built for great sound, stylish look, and comfortable fit. They are specifically designed for use with iPhone and other Apple products.

In-Line Remote Control/Microphone: The SoundTrue headphones' included cable features an in-line remote control and microphone that is compatible with select Apple products. The remote and mic are compatible with iPhone 3GS and later, iPad, iPod touch 2nd generation and later, iPod classic (120GB and 160GB), and iPod nano 4th generation or later. The remote is supported by iPod shuffle 3rd generation or later. Audio is supported by all iPad and iPod models. Controls include volume up/down, skip forward or backward, fast forward/rewind, play, pause, accept call, reject call, end call, and engage Voice Control (with compatible devices).

Note: The headphones should be able to deliver audio to most devices with a 3.5mm jack. The answer/end calls function may work with other devices, but the function varies between models. The volume controls will not likely work with non-Apple devices.

Acoustic Design: The Bose SoundTrue headphones have an advanced acoustic design to deliver clear, natural sound, with crisp highs and deep lows.

Folding Earcups: The earcups rotate 90-degrees and fold flat for easy storage and portability in the included case.

Removable Ear Cushions: The soft padded ear cushions feature memory foam that fit comfortably around your ears. They can be removed for cleaning and easily reattached. The cushions are held in place by 8 small tabs located around the inside rim of each earcup. Replacement ear cushions are available from the manufacturer.

Single/Detachable Audio Cable: The Bose SoundTrue headphones utilize a single, detachable audio cable that plugs into the left earcup via a 2.5mm sub-mini plug. Should the audio cable become lost or damaged, a replacement cable can be purchased from the manufacturer.

Slim Carrying Case: The Bose SoundTrue headphones come with a slim, semi-hard carrying case to help protect the headphones and accessories during travel.
