Bose® UFS-20 universal floor stands review

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Durable, attractive and practical, this is the second set of these stands that I have purchased. They are so durable that I wouldn't have purchased this second set other than for the fact that one of my first stands was destroyed by the movers during a trans-Pacific relocation. My first set of stands was almost 15 years old before this unfortunate incident and they have been subjected to numerous moves during that time. I'm quite happy with this product.

Pros: Durable, practical, heavy base, attractive.

Cons: May be a bit too short.

Awesome speaker stands however had to return only because the new speakers I purchased wouldn't work with the small stands.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Very pleased with the weight and stabillity of these stands. We purchased the Bose GS II series speakers and they are very inconspicuous beside the media center.

Pros: cords are hidden within the post so less clutter - very neat and tidy!

Works Great

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Worked very great for me - I have the Cinemate Gemstone speakers so there is no fear of tipping as the speakers are very small. They have a weighted base and you can hide the speaker cable at the back if you don't want anybody to see the wires. It was designed to be used for about 4 or so speaker types so you have to locate yours during the installation.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Bought scratch and dent. Still dont see any scratch or dent. Read a review on another website that these bose speaker stands were plastic and cheap and expected alot more from a name like Bose. Completely not true. These stands are not plastic, they are very strong and look great and got wife approval the moment she saw them

Good product with iimitations

Written by: Larrt O from California on July 22, 2011

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is a fine Bose product with limiitations. It can't be used with first generation cubes. There should be (at an additional cost) a bracket that can make it possible to use these stands with the older Bose speakers. Love the concept...but will not work with my cubes because of the lack of optional brackets to mount the speakers on the stand. Such a product accessory would be perfect. I had to return the stands for credit. Everyone loses! Larry

Perfect stands for Acoustimass Speakers

Written by: Ace from Newark, NJ on April 19, 2011

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Not much more I can add but they were specifically designed for the Acoustimass speakers. The base is weighted to avoid tipping over, the speaker wire remains hidden inside the groove of pole. If I have anything negative, it would be that there isn't a solid fit at the base, so you can move the pole 15-30 degrees, but it seems sturdy enough that it won't get damaged. Overall a great buy!
