It's Thin and it WORKS

Bought one for my bedroom flat screen system and it blows away standard speakers that claim to be center channel. Now I can hear, as crisp as if people were in the room, the TV and movies. Just bought a 2nd one for the 65" TV in the Den. The Bose center channel speaker is, without a doubt, GREAT!

Love it! I'm not an audiophile and don't care to be one. For the price, this works perfectly for my 5.1 setup. Just going from 2 channel or TV speakers to 3.1 or 5.1 is well worth it! For watching movies, a center speaker like this is a must! You get crisp, loud dialog out of this so you can hear the actors speak without having to turn the whole system up and blowing your ears on explosions or other background noise.

Bose® VCS-10® center channel speaker

This speaker is great! It packs a big punch; especially for the size of it. I have two large Acoustic Research tower speakers and they seem to go together quite well aside from the fact that they are two different brands. This BOSE speaker gives my surround sound rich/lively sound.

Pricey Upgrade but Probably Worth It.

I added this unit to my order for a Bose AM5 III speaker set. Since I had no room for back channel speakers I opted to spend the extra money on the center channel. Absolutely no regrets. I would actually consider doing this speaker BEFORE any of the other upgrades. Nice unit and wife doesn't object to its placement in front of the 42" Toshiba LCD TV. Not cheap, but worth the price.

Not that great as other Bose products

I bought the VC-10 as a gift for my parents some time ago to fit into their entertainment center. The low profile is a plus, but it was not that loud and my parents began switching back to the two main speakers to better hear movie and TV/games dialogue. My dad and I re-did the calibration but to no avail. It was not until I purchased a less expensive Infinity center channel for our own system (from Crutchfield) that I really noticed how
much better sounding a center channel should be. The VC-10 was disappointing. I offered to replace it but my parents told me to leave it alone as it is. It's now furniture.
