Features

Compatibility: This Y-adapter allows a Clarion CeNET head unit with changer controls to control two Clarion CeNET changers. One end of the adapter has a 10-pin female connector that plugs into the head unit's changer cable. The other end of the adapter branches off into two separate cables. Each separate cable has a 10-pin male connector that plugs into a CeNET changer. Using more than one adapter, you can control up to four changers from a single Clarion CeNET head unit. Two changer control requires one CeNET Y-adapter, three changer control requires two CeNET Y-adapters, and four changer control requires three CeNET Y-adapters.

WHAT YOUR SHOULD KNOW about CCA-519

Written By VERSACE, MIAMI, FL on Thursday, April 02, 2009
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

By own experience, if you have a Clarion CeNet Car Radio and you Bought it or is from 2006 or an older model, this cable might not work for you. I think these models have 13pins plug and the Clarion CCA-519_601 "Y" adapter or splitter really, has only 10pins plugs. 1 female that split to 2 males.

My Car Radio is a (Clarion DMX 5555z) Double Din CD and MD Receiver that I bought it in 2003 and is in mint condition, I connected my Clarion DCZ625 6CD's changer (Brand New, 5 days old) in one end and the Clarion EA1251 iPod Interface unit that I've been using for almost a month to the other end And the Radio Started to Powering off as if there was a Short Circuit. I immediately disconnected everything again and re-tested both the CD changer and the iPod interface units individually and they worked perfectly again. except that I could only have one plugged at a time, because the receiver has one Jack only, So naturally I left the iPod connected, until I do research and find out if there is a 13pins "Y" splitter.

Conclusion, do your HomeWork, find out exactly what you need before you end up like me, spending this much on a cable that I have to return and the DCZ625 CD Changer that I don't If I could return or further more I don't know if I could ever use it, if there isn't a 13pin splitter cable.
