Make waves with a marine sub
Make waves with a marine sub
Cruising around in the sun and spray is a great way to spend a day on the water, but it can be rough on your boat's stereo system. If you want to keep the bass booming for years to come, you need to install a quality marine sub like the Clarion CMG2512W. Careful design and rigorous testing ensure that this powerful sub is ready to rock, even the extremes of a marine environment.
Built for life on a boat
This 10" 4-ohm subwoofer features a rugged, waterproof polypropylene cone with a Santoprene rubber surround that stands up to humidity and punishing UV rays. A liquid drainage system keeps water from building up and causing corrosion. The sub's high-impact plastic shell protects the basket and magnet, and the integrated white plastic grille looks great in any boat.
This subwoofer can be used in sealed or ported enclosures, or in infinite baffle (free air) applications. Stainless steel mounting hardware is included.
Note: Clarion's illuminated speaker grilles will add safe, subtle lighting to your evening cruises or nights at the dock.

Used to replace an older model Clarion subwoofer in a Tiara that's exposed to the elements. Old one lasted 8 years before getting dried out and buzzy, which is respectable to me. This sub was a drop-in replacement. 5 minutes to swap and no more buzz, just pure bass.
