CMRC1-SB is designed to work with Clarion's CMD4 and M455 Marine Audio series
receivers (compatibility is not limited to the two models, but these are the two
that are currently available, more may be introduced in the future).
The display shows basic source and mode information
(Disc/Track, FM frequency, etc).
Illumination: The buttons and
display can be backlit in white by connecting the 12 volt input on the back of the remote
to a fuse in the boat's illumination circuit.
Water Resistant: The remote is
water resistant, so it is ideal for use on boats where you need to control the
radio's basic functions from a damp remote
CMRC1 is flush mounted into a flat panel and is held in place by sandwiching
the lip of the remote and the mounting bracket around the panel.
The mounting bracket is
then tightened to the fixed bolts on the back of the remote. The lip of the
remote has a gasket on the underside so the opening will remain fairly water
