Looking for an easy way to connect the audio from an outboard source (VCR, DVD, CD changer, portable music player) to your car radio? The Clarion FM200S FM modulator may be the perfect inexpensive solution it converts the audio signal into an FM signal which will play through your factory radio!
Plug the audio signal from any source into the FM200S's RCA audio inputs, and use the level-matching control to match the volume to that of your FM radio. A switch allows you to choose between 2 different modulation frequencies (87.7 MHz and 89.1 MHz) for the best possible reception in your area.
Hook up the audio signal from your videocassette or DVD player to the FM200S for instant mobile video. If you have a MiniDisc, cassette, CD, or MP3 portable you'd like to use in your car, the FM200S allows connection to a receiver without an auxiliary input.
The 39" power wire has an in-line On/Off switch (which can be mounted in a convenient location). Connect your vehicle's antenna lead to the FM200S and then run its 21" antenna cable to your vehicle's radio. (Please enter your vehicle information or call a Sales Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to see if any antenna adapters or tools are needed to install this FM modulator.)
Important Note: If you are using a small portable with a female mini jack output, you will have to purchase an adapter cable (stereo mini plug-to-stereo RCA plug) to make connection to the FM200S modulator.
