The SRQ1722S system features two premium 3/4” silk dome tweeters that'll really open up your sound, delivering the high-frequency details that make your music sound convincingly real. Mount each tweeter in a good spot up closer to your ears, and you'll hear a strong stereo image with each instrument clearly defined in the mix. The in-line crossover sends the correct frequencies to the tweeter so it'll stay clear and focused at higher volume levels. The 6-3/4” woofer features a rigid aramid and mica-injected polypropylene cone that won't flex when you're pushing your system, so you'll hear accurate midrange and low-frequency reproduction.

We had a chance to check out these speakers in the Crutchfield Labs recently. We were very impressed by the imaging offered by this system, and really liked the tweeter's wide-open sound. On the flip side, the system doesn't provide the amount of bass we'd like to hear, so we recommend using these components in conjunction with a subwoofer for best results.
