All-Weather Speaker: The NS-AW190 speakers have water-resistant enclosures that protect the speaker from the elements when mounted outdoors. The Yamaha NS-AW190 Outdoor Speakers house a single woofer and tweeter inside the all-weather acoustic suspension enclosure. The NS-AW190 also features weatherproof spring speaker terminals and non-removable aluminum speaker grilles.

Woofer: The Yamaha NS-AW190 All-Weather Speakers use a 6-ohm 5" high compliance polypropylene mica filled woofer with a rubber surround for durability and sound quality. 

1/2" PEI Dome Tweeter: The NS-AW190 All-Weather Speakers feature a 1/2" PEI dome tweeter for excellent high frequency response.

Wide Dispersion: These speakers are designed with a wide dispersion pattern which means you will get good sound quality over a large listening area up to 400 square feet. It is recommended to place the speaker between 6 feet and 10 feet apart.

Mounting Options

Mounting: The Yamaha NS-AW190 speakers come with mounting brackets which allow you to mount the speakers to your outdoor wall, in corners or under eves of your home to minimize the speakers' exposure to rain or snow. Using the supplied mounting brackets, the NS-AW190 can be mounted vertically or horizontally. When the speaker is mounted horizontally, the speaker can be rotated left or right; when the speaker is mounted vertically, the speaker can be angled up or down. The mounting bracket can also be used to place the speaker on a shelf or table in a horizontal or vertical position. The NS-AW190 speakers also feature a single 1/4" threaded insert for attaching an optional wall-mount bracket, sold separately.
