    Q
    Does it have color interface?
    robert  Mar 23, 2016

    A
Not sure what you're asking but regarding the "color display" this unit is very subdued and simple looking as almost all Blaupunkt equipment is. It has no options to change color texts which, in my opinion, makes it a very classy looking peice of work. The text is white, the few buttons are backlit blue. Since it's job is to reproduce music, which it does very well, all the disco colors that other manufacturers rely on are not necessary. Hope this helps.

Hi DavId - Sorry I didn't have use of this Blaupunkt for too long and cannot answer how it'll do with a 32GB SD card. But I would highly recommend this Blaupunkt to anyone or any Blaupunkt in general. Cheers!

I haven't tried anything larger than 32G. Both mine and a friends unit periodically require the SD card to be re-seated so we both use a low profile 32G USB flash drive that doesn't have that issue.

It should take a 32 gb sdhc card. I think it takes up to 64gb

I use a 64 gb SD card. Any size should be ok.

The ability to retain steering wheel controls with aftermarket receivers will be determined by the receiver you are using and the vehicle you have. For full information on this type of integration (including the parts you will need) please contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat.

Do you think this Blaupunkt Adelaide 130 DMR has more power than the Mercedes factory cassette stereo ? (2000 e320 Wagon) Also, is this units digital menu system intuitive, ie not overly complex to use ? Thank you, David in E TX

This unit is only 2 channel so if your Mercedes has four or more speakers then this isn't the one your looking for. As to the question of easy to use I'd say yes. Considering how many features there are the menus are intuitive and easy to understand.

Hi David, More power? I don't know since I only had a decker europa radio in it. The blaupunkt is definitely better then the old radio. The unit is not intuitive, but reading and using the manual gives a result. (strange though, old blaupunkts were so easy to work with) Greetings

Not sure about power but unit is easy to use, easy to hook up, and works great.

Don't know about the power comparison, but I selected this receiver because of its control simplicity and I like it. No complaints to date. Speaking of East Texas, I'm headed there in a few weeks. God's country!

No. I would not buy the Blaupunkt. I bought it because of the name and features and had to return it. (It does not like small thumbdrives, and it is NOT intuitive at all) Crutchfield recommended the Kenwood KMM-108U which is a Digital Media Player, but with more power, great sound, and can play all digital file formats I have (The Blaupunkt only accepts pretty much MP3). It is the same price as the Blaupunkt.

No access to the Mercedes stereo specs so I'd advise trying a Merc dealer...maybe they can provide specs (but I doubt it). You might try searching Mercedes forums. As far as the Blaupunkt goes, this is an excellent stereo that doesn't have all the silly colors or unnecessary knobs. Menu system is easy and the stereo works well. I wouldn't put anything else in a Mercedes. I'm very pleased with mine but it sounds like you need to do some more homework.

I believe it has more power than the stock unit in the 1999 C Class. It certainly sounds so! Insofar as the ease of use, my wife (let's say she and electronics don't agree) states that the Blau is the best receiver and easiest to use ever. She finds the USB functions extremely easy to use as well. That was a previous problem with other units. I also have the same unit in my 04 Jeep, exposed to the Texas Gulf humidity and have had no problems whatsoever.

It was very easy to use and has excellent sound quality. I would easily buy this stereo again. Also, I would recommend getting the plug and play harnesses as they make install a breeze.

I send this stereo back and upgraded to a better kenwood.
