About the Blaupunkt EMA 255
Blaupunkt power for your speakers
Blaupunkt power for your speakers
Blaupunkt's EMA 255 2-channel amplifier will power a pair of your car speakers with 55 watts RMS each — plenty enough to give you the extra clarity and impact you want for your music. A selectable high-pass filter lets you clean up the sound even more, by removing the extreme low rumble from your full-range speakers — very handy if you're using a subwoofer.
Bridged to mono mode, the EMA 255 can drive a subwoofer with up to 165 watts. A variable low-pass filter gives you extra control over your sub, and a bass boost lets you bump up your punch a couple of notches when you need it.
A heavy aluminum heatsink helps keep this compact amp running cool and reliably. Speaker-level inputs let you connect it to a factory radio with no RCA outputs, so you won't need a line output converter or other device in order to play music.

So far it works great. Easy to connect with powerful good distortion free sound. I'm using it in a boat so time will tell if it holds up under those tough conditions.
