Tough stuff

The sub's durable carpeted shell and protective grille eliminate any worries about your luggage, groceries, or golf clubs bumping into this sub in your trunk or hatch area. Sturdy screw terminals securely hold the speaker wires for a solid connection to your amp.

Upgraded sound system in my 1993 325i with Blaupunkt equipment (head unit, amps, & sub woofer). Sound is fantastic. Plenty of bass, even my teenagers approve!

Pros:

Cons: A 12" inch tube takes up a fair amount of trunk space.

Installed this into my daughters Mustang convertible. Fit perfectly and was easy to install. Space and shape were my primary concerns and it fits good. Hits good, not as low as I would like but smooth and distortion free. Only running a max of 200 watts to it in 4 ohm so a little more power may help it hit a little harder. For the value it sounds great.

Pros: Install easy, shape, easy to remove as well

Cons: Could hit a little lower

deep bass

I had a tube in my car in high school so I was skeptical 15 years later I bought this to put in my sons BMW 525I It literally rattles the trunk and my son is 16 so he plays it loud as possible daily with no audible distortion great buy.

Pros: For the price none and plays on an old mtx amp 140 watts

Cons: I didn't think it would play so loud but hits every note

Hi Steve. Yes , this requires an amp to make this monster move. Please look at the dimensions of it and grab a tape. I bought it for my daughter who drives a suv . It takes space . But the bass is great . [ juan  May 30, 2015 ]
