Denon's comfortable, lightweight AH-NC600 headphones give you clear, precise sound with the added benefit of active noise-canceling circuitry. You'll enjoy your music even more without the distraction of airplane noise or office chatter. These sound-isolating earbuds work together with Denon's advanced noise-canceling circuitry to reduce unwanted ambient noise by as much as 99%.

Breathe new life into your MP3 collection
The AH-NC600s are the first headphones to feature Denon's Compressed Audio Restorer. This technology improves the fidelity of MP3s and other digitally compressed music by restoring high-frequency sounds lost in the audio compression process. Denon also included their Acoustic Optimizer design for improved dynamics, bass response, and overall tonal balance.

Comfortable to wear, easy to use
Denon includes silicone and foam earbuds to ensure a good fit for a comfortable listening experience. The headphones connect to a compact black box about the size of a pack of gum that provides active noise-cancellation. The box has a three-way switch so you can activate the Compressed Audio Restorer for MP3 playback, or turn the noise-cancellation feature off and listen to your music without it, if you prefer. The supplied carrying case has room for your headphones plus a portable A/V player, and can even double as a display stand for your iPhone® or iPod touch®.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these headphones about one year ago, and I would say that the sound clairity is great. My problem comes with the quality, I have had these for just about a year and have had to get rid of them already. It is sad that a ten dollar headset will put up with more use. The issue is with the noise cancelation device where it mates with the cord, its not very secure allowing the wire to become loose and the one of the ear pieces to stop working. I loved the headset while it was working but to stop working in less than a year after paying this much for them is unacceptable.

Pros: good sound.

Cons: Fall apart, fist the extension cord went, then the clip, finally the left earbud stopped working. Great product if you do not travel.

Denon does it right

I replaced my stolen Beats Tours with these (which aren't as obvious to thieves) and don''t regret having to spend the extra money for the much improved sound clarity and the noise cancelling capability. The AAA battery seems to last forever provided that you remember to turn it off.

Pros: Great dynamic range,! Lows have a great "thump" and highs are clean and clear. Using the dynamic range expander really adds to the music so you hear what should be there before you made it an MP3. The noise cancelling works great reduces a lawn mower to a purr and on airlines quiet comfort.

Cons: I did like the construction of the Beats over these with the no tangle wires and heavier gauge wires and connections. For the price of these I think a little better construction is necessary although after a year I haven't had any issues.
