Great Blu-ray player. Materials for this player seem to be top notch. It is larger than most players. Playback on this player is incredible. Blu-Ray playback is quick and beautiful. regular DVD playback is a bit grainy at times, but plays them without a hitch and they also look better than my standard DVD player. You also must have an upgraded receiver for this to play the Blu-rays. I highly recommend this product. As always Crutchfield leads you in the right direction.

Great Blu-Ray Player!

This is a great Blu Ray player. It's built like a tank and works flawlessly with my Denon AVR3808CI receiver. The Picture is amazing, much better than my Panasonic BD60.
This thing is very long though. Some people may have a hard time fitting it into their TV stands or entertainment centers. I had to cut out some wood in order for this beast to fit. All worth the while though.
As always, dealing with Crutchfield was a breeze. My order shipped on 10/19 and was delivered on 10/20 and that was ground.

I have had the Denon player now for a week and have watched "Bolt" and the first"Pirates of the Caribbean" movie. As you have already read, this unit is large and very well constructed. The picture is great but so was the picture on my 2 Y.O. Sony Bluray. I currently have a 47" LCD TV which I suspect is hindering the Denon a tad.. I am currently waiting to buy one of the new breed of LED TV's. My bet is the Denon will really shine hooked up to a TV of similar stature.

Another quality Denon product that integrates effortlessly with my Denon AV receiver. And Crutchfield's pricing made the purchase and upgrade to BlueRay a "no brainer."

great sound and video from a tank

At first lift (after removing a 3 yr old dvd player from my av rack) was - wow,
this thing weighs a ton. What a well constructed player - lets hope it
sounds and plays like it feels. And guess what it does!!!
Easy to install, simple to use AND great sound and video - what more do
you want...
I'm thinking of getting a second one for the kids' room and one for my
girlfriend.
