To get fat bass in your car, your sub needs to move a lot of air. Audiobahn's High Excursion AW1000N 10" subwoofer has got what it takes to make that happen. The 2" foam surround extends and controls cone movement, even when the volume's cranked. The woofer's massive internal structure is built around a pair of heavy-duty stacked magnets that weigh in at nearly 7-1/2 pounds. A large motor structure and plenty of cone excursion — that's Audiobahn's recipe for big bass.
Of course, Audiobahn builds the rest of the woofer to handle the workload. The heavy-duty cast-aluminum basket eliminates resonances that can distort your bass, and the basket offers built-in venting that cools the woofer as the cone moves in and out. The AW1000N can be configured as either an 8-ohm or 2-ohm sub, which gives you plenty of options when wiring up your system.
