Overview Details Customer Reviews Category Info Accessories Our take on the AKG K 390 NC by Kristen Schaub Don't forget to pack AKG's K 390 NC headphones in your carry-on the next time you fly. These portable earbuds actively cancel out external background noise, for a quieter, more relaxing listening experience. They also come with an in-line microphone that lets you answer calls on your iPhone®, plus a built-in remote so you can control music playback without taking your phone out of your pocket. AKG has 60 years of experience designing headphones, so you'll enjoy accurate, uncolored sound whether you turn the noise-canceling function on or off. Peace and quiet at work, on the bus, or in the air The K 390 NCs connect to a separate, compact black box about the size of a pack of gum that provides active noise-cancellation. It has an on/off button and mute functions, so you can turn the noise-cancellation off and listen to just your music if you prefer. It also has a built-in shirt clip to keep it from pulling on the earbuds while they're in your ears. A detachable, oxygen-free copper cable connects the box to your audio player and provides the cleanest possible signal from your music source to your ears. The included carrying case not only stores your earbuds, but holds your iPhone too. And of course, these 'phones come with an airline adapter, so you can enjoy in-flight movies and shows. Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. AKG K 390 NC Noise-canceling earbud headphones with in-line remote and microphone are good only in fidelity. Bases are good and an overall sound is balanced and precise. The microphone is useless for the use of it creates a noise on the reception side that makes it impossible for communicating. The iPhone control doesn't work at all, I don't know if that's a general defect or my bad luck. The noise canceling is almost imperceptible, it rather creates noise to the music clarity and the amount of noise it really cancels is very little. Noise isolation is good, as good as any other earbuds would do. Pros: Good balanced sound good noise isolation. Cons: Noise canceling is poor. 1 out of 1 people found this helpful Was this review helpful?
