AKG K619 DJ headphones with in-line remote and microphone

The K619 DJ headphones feature swiveling earcups, a fold-up design, and an in-line remote with microphone. (Black model shown)

More than just DJ headphones

AKG designed the K619 headphones for DJs. But all the attributes that make them great for DJs also make them excellent around-the-ear headphones for anyone with a mobile lifestyle. It starts with sound quality, something which AKG has been perfecting for more than 60 years. The K619s are meant to perform in noisy club environments, so their sound is not only clear and detailed but also powerful, thanks to an ultra-high-efficiency design. So even portable devices can drive these headphones to ear-pleasing levels of full-bodied sound.

Choose your cable length

Instead of building an extra-long cable into the K619, AKG includes a 39-inch extension with the built-in 47-inch cable. So portable users aren't left with far more cable than they need. And DJs will have plenty of room to operate. It also makes these headphones great for use with home stereos. And like any good DJ headphones, the closed-back earcups swivel. You choose when external noise is allowed to come in, whether you're taking a request while DJ'ing or having a quick conversation on the street.

Remote and mic for iPhone

While great for home use, the K619 headphones were designed for the rigors of club life, making them ideal for extensive travel, commuting or running errands. They feature an in-line remote so you can skip tracks, turn up the volume or pause the music on your iPhone or iPod without digging into your pocket or bag. Keep your Apple device stashed away without sacrificing control. You can even answer calls on an iPhone with the remote's built-in microphone.

AKG K619 are exceptional. The sound quality is good, with an emphasis on the bass output. The headphones design is simple and clean, the reason why I like it so much. The quality of the material used to build seems durable and very comfortable, unless you?ve been wearing them for more than 4 hr (which is way long for anyone to be using headphones). And noise reduction is good, considering that these are meant to be noise canceling headphones so it does the job. Overall, I'm glad that i purchased the AKG?s. They work for me as an on the go headphones due to its compact design which makes it easy to pack away in a backpack or small bag.

Pros: -Sound quality-BASS -Clean look -Versatility -Traveling bag that comes in handy when on-the-go.

Cons: -Highs could be tuned a little better but overall for 129.99, i am satisfied
