No need for wires

Most music lovers have enjoyed their favorite tunes with a portable device and a pair of headphones. But if you've never listened wirelessly with Bluetooth headphones, we highly recommend giving it a try. The AKG K845 BT headphones are a great way to experience the freedom of wireless listening, especially when you're on the go. They offer a strong combination of sound quality, comfort, and Bluetooth compatibility for wireless listening with your smartphone or a computer.

Built-in music and call controls

Just because there's no cable, doesn't mean you can't maintain control of your music and phone calls. Play and pause songs and adjust the volume using the headphone's earcup controls. The tiny microphone built into the headphones lets you make phone calls. Just press the answer button to talk without ever taking your phone out of your pocket.

Following in the AKG tradition

The K845 BT's design is based on their popular K550 headphones, well-known for their spacious sound and sparkling high-frequency detail. The K845 BTs maintain the clarity and wide soundstage of the older model, while adding more low-frequency punch. The closed-back earcups are smaller than the K550's, making these more portable while maintaining excellent noise isolation, so all those musical details shine through. The design is also extremely comfortable, with large protein leather earpads and a lightweight, padded headband.

Yep, there's a headphone cable in the box, too

Charge up the K845 BT's built-in battery using the supplied USB cable and your computer or AC adapter. You'll enjoy up to eight hours of wireless listening and conversation. But what if your battery runs down? Simply plug in the included miniplug headphone cable to keep listening in passive mode for as long as you like. A wired connection also allows you to plug these headphones into a quality headphone amplifier for even better sound quality.

Earphone sound is good. Volume level ok. I was not able to use them while riding on my John Deere. I love the convenience of no cable.

Pros: Sound, convenience, quality

Cons: Instruction manual inadequate

Thinking about Beat's by Dre?

I was thinking about getting the Beat's by Dre. The thing that I kept seeing was though that sound quality, fit and pretty much style were pretty much a wash between the two. Then I did some more researching and found out that when the Beat's run out of juice so does the entertainment. Whereas the AKG have a separate cord that plugs into them thus allowing you to use the headphones without missing a--Beat!

Pros: Sound quality, Blue tooth, Style, Craftsmanship, can use once battery is dead.

Cons: Instructions could be a little more explicit as far as how to power on and off.

I have used these several times in the past few weeks, and the sound quality is excellent! I actually wanted headphones that i could use while mowing the yard or watching TV at night. The noise cancelling is above average and the bluetooth feature is nice for watching a late movie while the person beside you is sleeping. Just make sure the TV or device you are wanting to pair with is capable of doing so. Overall, the fit and finish is excellent and it takes me 4 hours on the riding mower and they are still comfortable after wearing them for that amount of time. Go ahead and get these, you won't be disappointed.

Pros: Great sound Comfortable Good Quality.

Cons: On the expensive side, but you get what you pay for.

Great, Flat head phones. The wireless features work great as well. Listened to your favorite songs with these, and it'll be like listening for the first time all over again.

Pros: FLAT! No pre-made, un-needed, EQ curves. Battery life is unreal, and charge time is quick.

Cons: Ummmm......

I researched and listened to many blue tooth headphones. The reviews for AKG did not lie. These are the best sounding headphones for the money. Do not waste your money on hyped up Dr, Dre products. These blow away the competition. I listen to these at work and can walk 100 feet away from my desk and not lose a signal.

Pros: Awesome sound. Excellent bass response without the phony bass boost gimmicks.

Cons: These will keep your ears warm.

Solid Product

This is something I've wanted for a while - a listening device without being encumbered by cords, but a product that fits my exercise routine and has decent sound. This product fits that bill. The sound is better on new digital recordings than old recordings that have been digitized, sometimes on those a little muddy in the bass range. Still I'm not looking for superb sound when exercising, so it works well.

Pros: works with bluetooth, comfortable, decent sound

Cons: Sound varies, depending on the nature of the original recording, as above.
