Looking for an easy way to mount a portable electronic device, like a plug-and-play satellite radio or an iPod®, in your vehicle? This Pro.Fit vehicle-specific mount (VSM) is the solution for you. It installs neatly in a convenient spot in your car and puts your device within easy reach, without altering the interior of your vehicle — good news if you lease your car. You can expect a great-looking, professional fit every time.

The car cradle that comes with your plug-and-play satellite radio attaches directly to the VSM, so you can pop the radio in and out easily. To mount your iPod, you'll need a separate iPod bracket to attach it to the VSM.

This Pro.Fit CV-71-99 VSM is engineered to fit in select 1999-and up Chevy/GMC vehicles with automatic transmissions.

Each Pro.Fit VSM comes with comprehensive installation instructions. To determine compatibility with your car, click on "What Fits My Car?" (if you haven't already) and enter your vehicle info. You can also call a Sales Advisor at 1-888-955-6000. Lifetime warranty.

Perfect Fit

easy to install, and did exactly what I need it to do. I bought the adapter for my cell phone and it looks it's supposed to be there. I got sick of the junk you buy locally that clips to the vents and makes the inside of the truck look trashy. This is a much better option. The only downside it the price. It's pretty expensive for a bent piece of steel. But I don't regret the purchase.

Hard to beat.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought this unit to clip my iPod touch to after adding a Peripheral iPod adaptor to my factory stereo in my 2000 Suburban. I wish it was a little cheaper, but it is a really nice looking mount, sturdy, and in a perfect place. Price is the only thing bringing the rating down, but at the same time, I liked it so much I bought another one for my Jeep Wrangler. So it must be worth it, right?

Great Fit and Finish

The part fit well as advertised, my Sirius Stilletto looks much better with the ProFit than the vent-mount I installed previously, and I get my vent back just in time for air conditioning season.

Why did I wait.

2006 Chevrolet Avalanche
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have this installed for one week, and can only say, " Why did I wait 10 months before installing this."

I have an 06 Avalanche and had been use a vent mount bracket for my XM Roady2. While installing this bracket I was able to connect the power wires to a direct source and hide all the wires. It looks great.

Simple, easy, worth it if you value your time.

2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I probably could have fabricated a metal bracket that would have accomplished the same task as this, but even though I'm a DIY'er, my time is precious. This bracket just absolutely worked for me with no modifications or drawbacks. The instructions were complete as far as mount installation, but they could use a quick example section about how to mount certain types of devices to it. That said I found it easy enough to figure it out, and the mount is well designed. It angles the device toward you and slightly up and makes for a good viewing angle. In my truck it's placed a little far from the driver, but I don't see any other way to make it closer and still not obstruct a control or the view.

If you want to do it yourself, but don't have the time or inclination for the trial and error required to fabricate, this mount is for you. I just ordered one for my BMW!

Best of the choices!

2004 GMC Sierra 2500/3500
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This mount was definately the right choice for the XM Delphi Ski2 if you don't want holes in your dash. It installed perfectly to the dash without problem as described. However, the Ski2 doesn't fit exactly on the mount. I needed to drill an additional hole in the bracket to make it work. This being done the radio fit well and looks professional. Also was a bit pricey for a stamped metal bracket that had to be altered.
