Features

Overview: The WindowMate mount can accommodate plug-and-play satellite radios, cell phones, GPS units, and navigation systems. The WindowMate mounts to any flat glass surface using the strong suction cup. Use the WindowMate with the Pro.Fit miMount, and you'll have the ideal mounting spot for your iPod. The WindowMate mount swivels 30 degrees and its arm flexes, allowing you to adjust the viewing angle.

Windshield accessory mount

I purchased the car mount for an older XM satellite radio. It had the right connection and was very easy to install. It holds the radio very well.

It does tend to vibrate on the bumpy city streets so changing the station can be a challenge. You do get better at hitting a moving target.

After a few months, it started to rattle on those same bumpy streets. I put a strip of electical tape over the points where the radio bracket touches the windshield bracket and the problem was resolved.

I would recommend this where you plan to move the radio or do not feel like performing a more permamnent install.

Good product for a while

The window mount is great for moving from vehicle to vehicle. I have a
vehicle specific mount in my F-250, it is definately the way to go. I used the
window mout for my other two trucks, my everyday back to work and my
weekend toy. The mount worked great for about a year then
the suction cup lost its shape and will not grip the window anymore. Bad
part is when the window mount fell and broke the mount for my Sirius
radio. (it was -15 F that morning) I'm not sure if it has to do with the cold
temperatures that morning, or I got a bad one out of the box.

Works as Advertised

The WindowMate works great and allows for easy movement between car and boat. The suction is strong and the adjustability of the arm and swivel is nice. The only problem is that it vibrates quite a bit while driving. I had to mount it so the mp3 player is resting against the A-pillar. Otherwise, very happy with the product. I think I'll buy another to leave in the boat.

This item was purchased to mount satellite radio. It makes moving from one vehicle to another very easy without using any adhesives. Just clean the window and go. Hot and cold weather have not affected the suction cup. Cleaning the glass with alcohol seems to work the best.
