Features Compatibility: This Optical Digital Cable can transfer digital audio signals from CD, DVD, and MiniDisc players and recorders. Since the signal is being carried by light impulses instead of electrical impulses, it is less susceptible to electromagnetic and RF interference. Construction: The cable features a 4mm diameter flexible jacket and molded Toslink connectors with gold-plated contacts. One end of the cable may be plugged into the supplied adapter to convert it to a mini optical connector, so it can be used with a portable device that has a mini optical input or output. When attached, the adapter extends the length of the cable by approximately 3/4". Note: Optical cables should not be bent at a severe angle. Doing so could damage the cable.
