Our take on the Arista Optical Digital Audio Cable

Optical digital audio cables are used for connecting such components as DVD players, CD players, Dolby® Digital receivers, and more. These cables from Arista feature deluxe Toslink-type connectors with gold-plated collars.

Note: The standard Toslink connectors on these cables are compatible with full-size home A/V components (such as a Dolby Digital receiver). Some portable digital recorders and players require mini-optical connections instead.

Details:

  • 12-foot optical cable with Toslink connectors
  • 24k gold-plated contacts
  • warranty: 90 days

Features

Compatibility: This Optical Digital Cable can provide low-loss, distortion-free transfer of digital audio signals from CD, DVD, and MiniDisc players and recorders, as well as A/V receivers. Since the signal is being carried by light impulses instead of electrical impulses, it is not susceptible to electromagnetic and RF interference.

Construction: The cable features a premium 6mm diameter flexible jacket and knurled metal 24K gold-plated Toslink connectors.

Note: Optical cables should not be bent at a severe angle. Doing so could damage the cable.
