Construction: This speaker wire has a clear PVC jacket with one conductor made of tinned silver to help you keep track of the positive and negative leads.

Connectors: No connectors are supplied with the speaker wire. Connectors (pin connector, banana plug, spade lug) are recommended to provide a secure connection to your receiver and speakers, plus prevent signal loss through oxidation and corrosion.

As long as it is used the same way at both ends, it does not matter. One wire is signal (+), the other is ground (-). The big thing is to make sure that (+) on the amp end goes to (+) on the speaker end and the same with (-).

It doesn't matter as long as you keep it consistent from the radio head/amp to the speaker itself.
