Many award-winning sound-off competitors put their mid-woofers and tweeters in custom-built kick panel enclosures to get concert-quality stereo imaging. But why pay hundreds of dollars to an installer when you can do it yourself? Just mount your 6-1/2" component system in Q-Logic's Q-Forms kick panel enclosures, and your car speakers will deliver competition-quality imaging without the expensive price tag.

Q-Forms enclosures hold your speakers in an ideal position, angling them to maximize sound quality. Since the Q-Forms are located near your feet, the distance from your ears to each speaker becomes closer to equal, creating a superior soundstage. The driver's seat becomes the "sweet spot" for great stereo sound. Warranty: 1 year.

Note: The Q-Forms do not come with pre-cut holes, so you must cut holes in order to install your component speakers in the enclosures. Please enter your vehicle information or call an Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to find out if this model is compatible with your vehicle.

Installation Note for 1999-07 General Motors full-size pickups and SUVs: The parking brake must be bent 1-1/2" to the right.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is my second set of kick panel pods from Qlogic, this set is for an '03 Sierra Denali. Highly recommended addition to your system. I am more impressed with the set I just purchased as the quality bar seems to have been raised. Last set (bought 5 years ago) were rough to the touch, felt like primer that was laid down uneven, but they did what they were designed to do. This set looks like they could have come straight from GM as a factory replacement meaning they have the same texture pattern, color matched perfectly and are nice and soft to the touch like your factory plastic is. Again, highly recommend, the change in imaging is dramatic (basing that on my last set with Boston Pro 65s in an '01 Sierra) can't wait to get these installed with my new Focal separates. As a bonus I received them from the distributor 3 days before I got the order shipped notification from Crutchfield. 1st set took 5 weeks because they were built to order. Qlogic makes a great product and crutchfield provides top notch service.

Pros: Easy to install, quality pieces, directs music to your ears instead of your knees

Cons: None really, that I can find.

Installation Notes

Product Overview: Q-Logic C-Series Q-Form custom kick panels are designed to hold a 2-way component speaker system consisting of a woofer up to 6-1/2" and a tweeter (up to 2" diameter). They are fabricated of durable ABS plastic, color matched to the factory interior colors, and directly replace the factory kick panels. The positioning and angle of the speakers provide optimum stereo imaging and staging.

No Grilles: Because no grilles are included with the Q-Forms, you must use the grilles supplied with the component system. Note: One of the included installation guides states that 2 Q-grilles are included. That is not the case for the C-series Q-Forms.

Compatibility: These Q-Forms are designed to fit select 1999-2000 GM Full-sized pickups, as well as 2000 GM Suburbans, Tahoes, Yukons, and Yukon XLs. These kick panels match the factory Navy Blue interior trim. The kick panels are also available in Graphite, Black, Camel, Pewter, and Medium Neutral. Note: For each specific vehicle, please verify compatibility with the "What Fits My Car?" vehicle selector.

Installation Notes

Installation Overview: You will need to cut out the mounting holes in the designated areas of the plastic Q-Form. A roll of foam tape is provided for sealing the woofer in the kick panel. The tweeter can be flush or surface mounted. Giving exact mounting depths is not possible, since it will depend to some extent on the space available behind the factory kick panel.

Required Vehicle Modifications: Because of the proximity of the parking brake pedal to the driver's side kick panel, you must modify the parking brake pedal. Using two crescent wrenches, you must carefully bend the parking brake pedal arm so that the pedal pad is relocated approximately 1-1/2" to the right.

Sorry, I can not be of much help at this time. Other problems popped up before installation. [ Charles  Jan 20, 2016 ]
i actually have 6 3/4 with a 1"tweeter.i would say you could maybe go up 1 1/2 on the tweeter. [ joey  Jan 19, 2016 ]
You have to cut the tweeter hole. It looks like there is at least 2" to work with. It fit my focal fx165 just fine. You would want to use the flush mount option for the tweeter. You do need to cut these panels to install the speakers. [ Thomas  Jan 19, 2016 ]
Any size you want you have to cut out the tweeter size your self, I used a hole size and have some Polk audio over sized tweeters so I believe any size will fit [ Rafael  Jan 18, 2016 ]
Yes it does. They are nice and fit pretty well. The left one does get in the way of the emergency brake a little.but does not prevent it from working. I also kick the drivers side with me foot quit a bit. I actually use it as a foot rest a lot. [ CHRISTOPHER  Aug 31, 2014 ]
Yes [ cesar  Aug 31, 2014 ]
Unfornately, I don't have a picture of the Ruby Red color. You may be able to find a picture of this on Q-Logic website: I can tell you that these enclosures are designed to be factory matched in color. The Ruby Red color should match directly with the red plastic in the vehicle. [ Jeff  Jan 13, 2014 ]  Staff
