Can't find your exact car?

Many award-winning sound-off competitors put their mid-woofers and tweeters in custom-built kick panel enclosures to get concert-quality stereo imaging. But why pay hundreds of dollars to an installer when you can do it yourself? Just mount your 6-1/2" component system in Q-Logic's Q-Forms kick panel enclosures, and your car speakers will deliver competition-quality imaging without the expensive price tag.

Q-Forms enclosures hold your speakers in an ideal position, angling them to maximize sound quality. Since the Q-Forms are located near your feet, the distance from your ears to each speaker becomes closer to equal, creating a superior soundstage. The driver's seat becomes the "sweet spot" for great stereo sound. Warranty: 1 year.

Note: The Q-Forms do not come with pre-cut holes, so you must cut holes in order to install your component speakers in the enclosures. Installing the Q-Forms panel enclosures in your vehicle may require relocation of the parking brake pedal or other vehicle parts. Please enter your vehicle information or call a Sales Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to find out if this model is compatible with your vehicle.

Installation note for 1999-00 Honda Civic or 1997-up Honda CR-V: The factory footrest on the driver's side will need to be unbolted and removed (it can be replaced later).

Not worth it for this application

1999 Honda CRV
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased these to install a pair of Polk/momo components in my crv. I was first a bit surprised to find them not cut out at all. The picture seems to be a default photo of some of their nicer precut panels with grills. When I opened the box to find some blank panels and next to nothing in the way of mounting hardware, I was pretty bummed. Read up a bit and decided to give them a shot. All they needed was cut out and mounted. Seemed easy. The proper size hole saws were $40 and $18, a bit steep considering I just paid this much for panels I thought were already cut. Many write ups suggest a simple jig saw so I tried that. Bad mistake. The plastic is very soft and basically melts as you cut them and dries solid once the blade has passed. The grey finish also is marred up very easily, beware. After some careful cuts and filing they were done. Mounted my speakers which apparently have a magnet to big for these panels as they hit the floor...but there was nothing mentioned about maximum depth. A bit of tweaking again and I was finally ready to install the only to find the predrilled screw holes lead to no mounting points. So now I'm supposed to just drill into the chassis, one of them straight into the floor. The passenger side mount fits better than the driver side but still leaves a lot to be desired.

Having used a set of these before I was seriously disappointed with these. They fit poorly and are not worth the price.

Pros: Potentially a good product

Cons: Poor fitment, need to cut yourself, mounts very poorly

Crutchfield response on September 24, 2014 It's normal to have to cut out holes for the speakers. That's how they can accommodate different speaker sizes. A rotary cutter set to a higher speed with a cutoff wheel makes a nice tool to cut those out. Other modifications for mounting the pods are not unusual. It just depends on the vehicle/pod/speaker combination. If the speaker pods aren't working out as desired, they can still be returned to us for a refund.yes, even though there's a big hole in them now.

More or less worthless due to terrible fit

1997 Honda Civic
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these for a 99 honda civic and they just plain don't fit. The panels don't meet smoothly with the existing panels. The supplied screws weren't long enough to bite into anything on the back side... And the provided foam inserts are not large enough to fill the open space. Now the pods just kinda wiggle loosely next to my clutch pedal and could potentially interfere with the pedals operation.

Pros: Didn't have to destroy factory panels to install a component speaker system.

Cons: Does not fit. Acoustically weak. Incorrect installation hardware included. No center hole for woofer, only tweeter. Made it difficult to center the midrange woofer in the pod.

Crutchfield response on August 13, 2014 The speaker pods need to be properly mounted in order to safe and to sound good. Our Tech Support team reached out to the customer to figure out a solution for this problem. Lifetime tech support is included with every Crutchfield purchase.
