2003 Toyota Tundra
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
I've slowly but steadily been upgrading the sound in my 2003 Tundra thanks to the crew at Crutchfield. Started with new door speakers and tweeters...nice improvement. Replaced the head unit...another nice step in the right direction. Dynamatted the entire interior (two layers)...wow...huge difference. Now, I've installed a nice Clarion amp for the door speakers and a sweet Rockford Fosgate Punch 300x1 amp powering twin 8-inch JL 8W1v3-4's in this Q-Customs enclosure.....Wow...Wow...Wow.....those are the three first words that come to mind. I cannot believe how punchy the bass is....crystal clear and so sharp. More than enough bass to make me smile ear to ear. Absolutely thumps and sounds like a million bucks.
Pros: Simple installation. Well built enclosure. Hardware for installing subs included (screws). Super design...takes advantage of every last inch of space. I cannot say enough good stuff about this enclosure.
Cons: I wish I had done this years ago!!!!!!!!!! Never new this thing existed! Not really a con, but the enclosure also comes with a few short pieces of wire for connecting the subs to the enclosure terminals.....nice that they included it but most people will upgrade with their own high-end wire.
