Cons: Directions a little vague, but install was fairly easy..

Well Worth the Money and Cructhfield has the Best Price I've Found

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I've slowly but steadily been upgrading the sound in my 2003 Tundra thanks to the crew at Crutchfield. Started with new door speakers and tweeters...nice improvement. Replaced the head unit...another nice step in the right direction. Dynamatted the entire interior (two layers) difference. Now, I've installed a nice Clarion amp for the door speakers and a sweet Rockford Fosgate Punch 300x1 amp powering twin 8-inch JL 8W1v3-4's in this Q-Customs enclosure.....Wow...Wow...Wow.....those are the three first words that come to mind. I cannot believe how punchy the bass is....crystal clear and so sharp. More than enough bass to make me smile ear to ear. Absolutely thumps and sounds like a million bucks.

Pros: Simple installation. Well built enclosure. Hardware for installing subs included (screws). Super design...takes advantage of every last inch of space. I cannot say enough good stuff about this enclosure.

Cons: I wish I had done this years ago!!!!!!!!!! Never new this thing existed! Not really a con, but the enclosure also comes with a few short pieces of wire for connecting the subs to the enclosure terminals.....nice that they included it but most people will upgrade with their own high-end wire.

Pros: Easy to install , Factory look

Cons: Would be nice if offered in a single 10" sub

Toyota Tundra Q-Logic Sub-enclosure

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The box was easy to install, looks great and sounds better. 2ea. Kicker 40CWD84 (CompD84) where installed with a Hifonics Brutus Amp. Kicker mids where installed on both front and back doors. The subs sounded great in the Q-Logic box.

Pros: easy install, looks great, sounds great.

Cons: Price was a little high for 2ea. 8" enclosure,

Excellent Fit

2001 Toyota Tundra
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Loved that the enclosure was built for my 2001 Toyota Tundra and fit perfectly! It fit was great and final look was excellent. My 2 Rockford Fosgate shallow 8" subwoofers fit and sound excellent for something that is so small/thin and hidden under rear bench seat. Excellent solution for minimal visual change to the truck.

Pros: Easy Installation, Fit, Finish, Performance. Great look with the bench seat up. Great sound / thump with the seat up OR down.

Cons: Internal wiring: Wish the wires inside the enclosure was maybe a step up in gauge. I think I might be upgrading the internal wiring to larger gauge. It works but some what defeating when you run better quality and gauge all the way to the enclosure.

Q-Customs factory fit subwoofer enclosure

Anonymous from Navarre, FL on 7/1/2013

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This has to be the stealthiest subwoofer enclosure. Those of you that own a Tundra with the access cab know that there is no room for anything in the back much less people. This enclosure was easy to install and fits like a glove. It looks totally stock. I put two Kicker subs together with a sound ordinance amp and I'm blown away. The sound is incredible. It's not going to vibrate the neighborhood but the sound is awesome. I can't imagine a better sounding easier to install system. And it looks really clean.

Pros: Ease of installation. Fit and finish. Looks awesome with the seat up and sound great with the seat down.

Cons: None as of yet

Nice box. Poor connections

JoshN from Dallas, TX on 8/29/2012

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The box went in without too much fuss. It's a good, direct replacement for the factory storage area that has to be removed. My problems came when I tried to connect and power on my amp and sub. All connections were completed and checked and double checked and redone, but I couldn't get any sound out of the subs. Finally, after isolating every component and connection throughout the system, I determined that the wiring in the box was the problem. One of the terminal connectors wasn't actually touching the wire that it was connected to, so I had to replace that connector. Also, the wiring inside the box is extremely thin. There's no point in running 14-16 ga. wire to the box and then dropping to 22 ga. once you get inside of the box. I'm going to have to replace all of that also. Once it's finished it will be nice, but be aware of possible quality issues with the wiring.

Pros: stealth, design, materials (other than wiring)

Cons: wiring

Pretty good for the only option available

Erich from Dallas, TX on 2/4/2008

It is the only stealth box out there (unless you have bucket seats- then go with the JL) but it is made of poor materials. The cheap and flimsy backing of this product does not produce amazing bass. It is good enough though. I had to drill out some of the plastic mounting holes that are supposed to align with the bolt holes vacated by the factory storage setup- so the production tolerances are not very tight. They use MDF board on JUST the baffle, so that is the only dense material used. The plastic used for the rest of the enclosure is thin- not dense at all, it feels like i could easily punch a hole through it and it would snap and crack like brittle plastic, one would think they would at least use something a little more pliable. In forums online there have even been reports of the plastic cracking with heavy and extended bass pounding. I put two Polk MOMO 8"s (200RMS each) with a 375 alpine mono sub. They do pound but my plan is: upgrade to a 450 or 500 RMS amp, and lay fiberglass inside the plastic tub to add density. I will keep ya'll posted on how this turns out. ALSO- it is completely not necessary to cut the carpet as directed in the instillation manual. You have an even more stock look by just leaving it in place, and placing speaker grills over the subs to protect the sub's suspension from rubbing the carpet after the seat is placed in it's down position. At first I thought it was all good but after checking the subs with the seat down (and no grills) I noticed some rubbing marks. So you can just get grills, or just slit the carpet about an inch into the two front corners so that it can fold under itself. You don't need the xtra trim ring supplied by Q- that way you can go back to stock if needed.

To sum it up- for the price Q-Logic should have better build tolerances, and create a more dense enclosure. It was easy to install.

Q-Customs Factory-fit Subwoofer Enclosures

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I decided on this box after talking with the best fabricators and installers in my area. none of them could come up with a better box without losing rear seating in my truck. I have to say that I am very pleased with the final product. I installed two P2 Rockford Fosgate 8's. Along with the MB Quart components and Punch Series Amps. The overall sound quality is excellent. I am used to having much larger woofers, but for what it is (two 8's) I am very pleased. I would recommend this product to anyone.

An affordable Solution

alexrony from Atlanta,GA on 5/26/2005

Q-logic has come up with the only solution to add a sub without robbin the already cramp rear interior space of the truck.Just keep in mind that you are using two 8" woofers and the sound performance is limited. 8" woofers have never been the most efficient and accurate solution for performance bass. But if you need better sound it is the only way to go! Installation is simple and precise. Q-logic is a reputable brand and I will recommend it to anybody,I have use their products in different applications and I am very satisfy
Excellent Bass Enclosure

Lpfont from Baton Rouge, LA on 4/21/2005

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This box is Amazing. The quality is Excellent. I installed this box myself and ended up with a Custom Factory Fit just like the name says. It fit perfectly and it is Totally Stealth.

I purchased this box, Two Fosgate Punch (Stage 1) 8" Woofers and a 150 Watt RMS 2-Channel Amp at the same time and received 10% off. This combination is a perfect match. The Bass from this box sounds like it has Woofers much Larger than 8". Adding this box to my stock radio and speakers has made the sound in my truck Awesome, and for a low cost. I have seen people spend a lot more money on other subwoofer systems and they don't get the Solid Tight Bass like this Q-Logic. They also don't get the Invisible look either.

Thank You Q-Logic for making this Enclosure, it is worth every penny I paid for it.
