Q-Logic enclosures take the guesswork out of box-building, so you can enjoy great bass without the time-consuming process of constructing your own enclosure. The QLT-.6510SS truck style box accommodates one 10" subwoofer in a sturdy medium-density fiberboard housing, upholstered with durable gray carpet. You'll enjoy tight, strong bass from this compact sealed box.

Since basket design and bolt patterns vary with each subwoofer brand, Q-Logic's ingenious QXs seal rings allow you to customize the baffle openings for almost any woofers available. The box comes with nickel-plated spring post speaker terminals, speaker wire, polyester fiber stuffing, and a screw pack for attaching the baffles.

This box is designed to fit behind the front seats of many regular cab pickup trucks. Please measure the planned installation location to ensure fit.

Why do I need an enclosure?

An enclosure is simply the box that houses your sub; sealed and ported enclosures are the most popular types. A sealed enclosure is usually smaller in size, sacrificing a little volume level to deliver more accurate bass. The ported enclosure features a vent which allows bass waves to escape from behind the mounted sub, augmenting the bass coming off the front of the sub. Ported boxes are louder, bigger, and a little less accurate. Every sub works best in the size and type of enclosure that's recommended by the manufacturer, so make sure you match your sub with the right box.

really cool box for trucks or small cars. i have it in my gmc sonoma ext cab
with a sony explod 10" sub. sounds super clean with tight bass response.
just how i like it. good quality like you'd expect from crutchfield. just be
careful with the connections inside as they are easily bent. and you might
need more polyfill then it comes with so tear open that old pillow!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Great box when your truck is short on space behind the seat. Well constructed on all aspects except the inside terminals, which are a little cheap but not really a problem. Excellent sound without using any polyfill. This is the second one I bought cause I liked the first one so much. What can be better than one subwoofer than two subwoofers.

This is a decent box if your unlucky enough to have a reg cab truck. Check your speakers's mounting depth carefully before ordering(Found that one out the hard way!!!!!)The wiring has improved inside the box on this new version. And don't just "Stuff it full of polyfill." Check your speaker's ideal cubic ft measurement. If it's = to or less than .65ft don't put any polyfill in. Lastly, use caution when attaching the speaker wire terminals to the inside of the box's terminals as they are easily bent/broken.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Had some serious size constraints in my trunk if I wanted to still have access to my spare. Took a chance on this box and it's great. It was surprisingly easy to find a speaker that was intended for this small of an enclosure, and the build quality is excellent. Internal wiring is lousy, so plan on changing it out and doing a few minutes of soldering. Make sure to mount it well (very small footprint) and stuff it full of poly-fill. Overall a great box.

Compatibility: This enclosure is designed to work with a single 10" woofer. It is a Type 1 enclosure with an internal volume of 0.65 cu. ft., and is designed to be used only as a sealed enclosure.

Materials: The box is constructed of 5/8" MDF (medium-density fiberboard). MDF resists flexing and has anti-resonant qualities.

Design: For strength, Q-Logic uses a full dado groove on the front, back, top, and bottom panels. The side panels are glued, then locked into these grooves. The edges of the front, back, top and bottom are mitered joints, so there's 50% more surface area for the special glue that bonds them. The side and front panel are framed with a hard plastic frame. The side panels of the box are recessed 0.5" from the outer edges of the frame. The shape of the enclosure better utilizes space behind the seat of a pickup truck by allowing you to put the enclosure against the angled back of the seat and against the back of the cab. The enclosure is covered with durable gray carpet.

QXs-Ring: The QXs-Ring is a multi-diameter woofer mounting adapter which also seals the woofer into the enclosure. The QXs-Ring has a series of rings around the outside to help center the woofer, and hash marks to help align the woofer's mounting holes. If the mounting diameter of the woofer is 9-1/8" or less, the woofer can be installed without trimming the ring. For woofers with a larger mounting diameter, a portion of the QXs-Ring can be trimmed off, allowing for an extra 1/4" in woofer mounting diameter.

External "Top Hat": Mounted to the rear of the enclosure, the External Top Hat is an oval-shaped plastic insert which extends the woofer mounting depth by nearly 3/4", allowing more woofers to fit into the enclosure. The cutout for the insert is 7-1/2" wide and 6" high. The external panel is 9-3/8" x 7-5/8" (oval), but protrudes less than 1/4" from the back panel.

Spring Posts: The spring posts, located on the left side of the enclosure, will accept bare wire, pin connectors, banana plugs, and dual banana plugs. The enclosure is equipped with a 30" speaker wire for connecting the woofer to the inside terminals.

Brackets: Brackets (not included) are recommended for more secure mounting.
