james  Nov 18, 2021
A
Both surfaces, (sides/front-rear) have a center to center hole spacing of 18 5/16. And the cabinet is square, so I would say yes.

As long as it fits, I don't see why not. I installed mine inside a cabinet as well. I am very happy with he purchase. It is of great quality and well made.
victor  Dec 07, 2020
A
As long as the cabinet has enough clearance space, I don't see why not.

Q
I have castors for this. Can I put the feet on and then add the rollers, or do I have to use one or the other (either the feel or castors/rollers)? Thanks!

A
One or the other I don't see any way for both
peter a  May 05, 2020
A
it's one or the other. you can get decent castors at the hardware store to keep your options open.
steve  May 05, 2020
A
Can only use one or the other. My rack is fully loaded and over 200 lbs so used the feet as it sat on carpet; to prevent sinking into carpet used a 2x2'x0.5" sheet of MDF. Recently moved so now sits on a hard surface floor but can't find rollers to switch! Advice tape either rollers/feet inside rear of rack to prevent misplacement.

If you put a shelf at the top. There isn't a "top".

Q
Since it is all coated, is there an exposed grounding tab to ground isolate the rack?
michael j.  Oct 20, 2019

A
There is no grounding tab but with very little effort and the appropriate hardware you could easily create one!
randall  Oct 29, 2019
A
Hi Michael, thank you for your question. The Sanus CFR1620 does not have a grounding tab, but you are able to ground your components to a location that you have sanded the coating from. Chat with an Advisor online or by phone at 1-800-324-9695 if you have any other questions. They will be happy to assist.

Q
How many shelves comes with the Sanus CFR1620?
mark  Dec 29, 2015

A
It came with 2 shelves. One single rack space shelf and one double rack space shelf. I purchased additional shelves only to find out that many of my components were rack mount. Be sure you have enough screws and I recommend the caster set if your rack is in a closet

Q
I have a cfr1620 sands rack and I need more space. Which stackable racks will work with this?

A
Bob I'm not sure if your asking about shelves that you can add or if you want another rack to put on this one. Let me know and I will try and help you out.
hank  May 30, 2015
A
Bob -- The CFR1615 works for this purposes. Depending on how much vertical space you have, you could also stack another CFR1620 on top of your existing one. Personally, I have a 1615 stacked on top of a 1620.
ioannis  May 25, 2015
Q
Does this rack have square holes or round threaded holes? BTW, I'd like the square holes.
terry  Mar 05, 2015

Terry -- Not sure which holes you're referring to. If you mean the holes in the front of the frame of the rack that you use to attach the shelves, then they are round and threaded.

The trays have round threaded holes.
