Customer Q&A

Q
When mounting the bracket on the TV how do I know if I have it centered evenly?

first I find the stud that is going to hold the weight. Then I shift the bracket base to the most centered position I can get. Then I slide the TV to the best centered position and looks good. This is the second one I have installed.

Thanks Sound easy to do.

Don't worry about it, just make sure you get the four lag bolts into studs. The brackets attached to the TV actually slide left and right on the wall mount so you have a lot of flexibilty centering the TV once you hang it on the mount. Just make sure the studs in the wall you use are as close to center as you can get of course. The brackets attach to the TV in already existing holes so you have nothing to worry about on the TV. Hope this helped.

Good evening...keep in mind that prior to mounting my TV on the wall, it sat on top of my audio cabinet in the exact location I wanted it. Keep in mind also, that I already had my Left and Right surround sound speakers mounted on either side of the TV. Because of the speakers, 100% centering the bracket was not be possible. I was more concerned with insuring I had two studs to secure the lag bolts into. I was able to adjust the TV, once mounted on the bracket, into the center of the space between my speakers. I liked this bracket a lot. The titling adjustment made is easy to connect everything once TV was properly positioned.

Peter, When I mounted my TV, the brackets do not have to be centered on the rear of the TV. The Mount has slides that enable the TV to move left or right after mounting both brackets. It is a nice wall mount. I mounted the wall plate on my studs with special bolts provided by Crutchfield for aluminum studs. Then mounted the other brackets on the TV. Lifted the TV onto the wall plate and slide it sideways to center it and then locked it down. Hope this helps. I used the bracket mounting holes provided by SamSung on my TV. You should have no problems.
