Keep small A/V components hidden, but close to your wall-mounted TV
The Sanus SA808 hides your smaller A/V gear in your wall behind a mounted TV and holds the Sanus SA206 EcoSystem Mini surge protector (sold separately).
Your TV setup might include small A/V components, like network streaming devices and IR repeaters. But where do you put them if you want to mount that TV on your wall? The Sanus SA808 is a small cabinet that can be installed inside your drywall and hides your components behind your mounted TV, keeping the system clean and neat. It fits behind the wall plate of most large TV wall-mounts and above or underneath the wall plate of smaller mounts.
The SA808 holds up to 10 pounds, and includes an elastic hook-and-loop strap to keep your components secure. Your cables run neatly through a supplied cable grommet. There is an opening on the side for your electrical outlet, and a supplied mounting bracket will hold a Sanus SA206 EcoSystem™ Mini surge protector (sold separately).
Note: For AC outlets, installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

Features
Recessed Component Box: The Sanus SA808 recessed component box has been specially designed for use with the Sanus SA206 EcoSystem Mini (sold separately) and very small AV components. Its space-saving design keeps components and cables neat, making it perfect for use with wall-mounted TVs. It includes an AC outlet space and strap for holding up to four small components. The SA808 is made of high-impact plastic for long life.
ECO-Mini Bracket Compatible: The SA808 recessed component box features a "knock-out" opening and comes with a mounting to bracket to install the Sanus ECO-Mini bracket (051SA206, sold separately).
AC Outlet Box Compatible: The SA808 also includes another "knock-out" opening which allows the installation of a UL listed 120 VAC electrical outlet box (sold separately).
Security Strap: The included elastic strap is used to attach and secure components inside the housing.
Applications: The SA808 can be installed behind most large wall plates of wall-mounts or underneath or above most small wall plates. To access the SA808 after installation, disconnect all cables and wires from the TV, then either slide or remove the arm or TV mount from the wall plate.
Mounting: The recessed component box must be mounted between studs that are at least 16" apart; drywall covering the wall must not exceed 5/8". After installation there will not be enough space between the SA808 and the studs for electrical wires/cables, plumbing, ductwork, or insulation.
