Fits Sony TVs with extension bars from Sanus

Jim from Maryland on 7/26/2010

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The mount finder said this would fit my Sony TV, but I had to call Sanus to have the extension bars sent to me. They are not included in the box but they will send them without charge. The bars arrived without any mounting hardware, so I had to go to the hardware store to get 4 bolts & nuts. I was then able to mount the TV without further problem.

Good quality but do your homework

John from La Crosse, WI on 1/18/2010

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Great product but does not fit some TV's (like Sony). An adaptor plate is needed but Crutchfield may not have these available. The fact that this wall mount will not fit some TV brands (like Sony) was not clear when ordering. After Tech Support offered no remedy I crafted my own mounting transition piece. This 30 minute install project lasted two days!

Great for small tv's

Holly from Phoenix, AZ on 7/14/2009

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I think this mount is great. It does just what we need. It was easy to install and and tilts just enough so the kids can see the screen from the floor.

Features

Overview: The Sanus Systems VisionMount SF203 is a full-motion wall mount for small flat panel TVs and monitors. The SF203 can accommodate TVs and monitors with screen sizes up to 27" and weighing up to 50 pounds.

Virtual Axis: Sanus' Virtual Axis technology allows the mount to tilt up and down with the touch of a finger, while its low-profile design places the TV just 3" from the wall. The mount's "full motion" allows the mount to tilt (+/-15°) and swivel (+/-30°) for easy viewing from multiple angles. The adjustment knob enables the TV to move easily while maintaining tension.

Level Adjustment: Post-installation adjustment ensures the TV is perfectly aligned, even after hanging the TV. You can adjust the lateral roll adjustment approximately 1° in either direction.

Wall Mounting: The wall plate should be mounted to a wood wall stud, solid concrete, or concrete block using the supplied wall-mount lag screws. Required tools: Drill with 7/32" bit (5.5mm), stud finder, box wrench (13mm or 1/2") or adjustable wrench, Phillips-head screwdriver.

VESA: This TV wall-mount uses three VESA mounting hole patterns in accordance with industry standards set by the Video Electronics Standards Association:

VESA Pattern Horizontal Vertical
75 (square) 75mm (2.95") 75mm (2.95")
100 (square) 100mm (3.94") 100mm (3.94")
200 x 100 (rectangular) 200mm (7.87") 100mm (3.94")

Dimensions:

  • Wall Plate: W=2.327", H=6.747", D=1.678"
  • Monitor Mount: W=9.084", H=5.679", D=2.13"
  • TV Mounting Distance From Wall: 2.86" (TV mounted parallel to wall)

Great for small TVs -- and monitors

Written by Ralph Graves, Staff Writer - Creative, on 7/2/2012 9:54:00 AM

The SF203 is a small, simple mount that's ideal for a small LCD TV. But it's good for something else, too. Mounting a computer monitor. A colleague recently redid his office so he could work standing instead of sitting (it's something of a trend these days). His computer keyboard was set on a shelving unit to raise it to the proper height, but what do to do about the monitor? It's mounted to a SF203 on the wall, and the tilt and swivel functions let him set it for optimal visibility.
