Compatible with select Sanus mounts, including VMPL, VMPL2, VMPL3, VMPL50, and VMPL250.

I bought these anchors to use for my TV mount on a drywall. I don't have any studs behind this wall so it was the only option. So far so good, it handles my 32" TV without any problems. I've tried to put some pressure to TV mount itself with my hands and it looks sturdy.

Pros: Does it job.

Cons: You can get 6-pack at another retailer cheaper.

Glorified toggle bolts

Written by: BobF from New York, NY on November 5, 2013

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This kit is nothing more than 4 glorified 1/4 X 20 toggle bolts and washers. They worked fine but I only needed two for my wall mount and probably could have gotten toggle bolts and washers at the hardware store for a couple of bucks.

Pros: Worked fine

Cons: Expensive for what you get.

Metal stud mount

Written by: Darren808 from Ewa Beach, HI on October 5, 2012

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Worked great.

Pros: Secure to metal stud. Holds a lot of weight.

Cons: Probably over engineered to support more weight than needed. Because if this large 1/2 inch drill bit is needed to make hole in metal stud . Recommend use cobalt drill bit.

Hi, you can't use these to mount to the back of the TV. They are meant to be used to attached the mount to the (steel studed) wall. The strips are needed to distribute the weight of the tv across the chassis. Hope this helps. I would think you either need to contact the manufacturer to buy the strips separately or look into wall mounting the TV. Hope this helps. [ Kurt  Nov 30, 2014 ]
